Rated 5 von 5 von Sean aus Comfortable well fitting synthetic glove For those of us who have large hands, you know how difficult it can be to find a comfortable well fitting glove. For me this is it. The Crag gloves fit nicely, enough width around the palm and snug in the fingers without too much length. My hand is 10" in diameter around the palm and 8" from wrist to tip of the middle finger and the XL gloves fit nicely. The gloves are durable as well. I use them for belay and rope work, and after 15+ high speed belays on a tyolian they show no sign or wear...just a little dirty. All in all the synthetic leather works well, breathes nicely, and is durable
Rated 2 von 5 von Brian aus Careful about the sizing! I used the sizing chart on the homepage to select the size. My measurements being somewhere on the border between size S and M (about 21-22 cm) I selected the size M, but the glove is at least one if not two sizes too small! The fingers are at least 1 cm too short and the fit is okay but on the tight side. Normally I use size 9.5 or 10, but my measurements suggested otherwise so I trusted the sizing chart. Do not trust the sizing chart! I'm thinking about selling them or maybe cutting the fingertips of and converting them to an open finger design.
Rated 5 von 5 von Cyril aus Good light duty belay glove! These are lightweight and not too hot as a versatile belay glove. They seem to breath better than some others I have had. They are good for rope handling but don't expect them to last forever as they are not a heavy duty "beast" work glove. For the price I can afford to buy another pair when I wear these out. I have used a number of other gloves but these are now the pair that hangs on my harness on a day to day basis. They also look pretty good to boot.
Rated 5 von 5 von Jonah aus Amazing Performance for Price I have had these gloves for about two years. I originally bought them for via ferratas that I was doing in Europe, but have since used them for belaying, spelunking, nordic skiing, and general chilly weather. I've never been pricked on the wires or burned by a rope. Every time they start to show some wear, I toss them in the wash and they come out looking great. When these totally wear out, I'll be buying another pair.
Rated 4 von 5 von Eric aus durable & comfortable As a K9 Search and Rescue handler, I purchased these gloves to keep my hands protected from berry bushes, poison oak, brush and friction burns from the trailing lead, They are sturdy enough to take abuse, the mesh back keeps them cool and I still have a good feel for the line. If they work to reel in my lab, they should work well for your belay. Only down side, they do take a while to dry.
Rated 5 von 5 von Shawn aus Great glove I know they are designed as a belay/rappel glove but they are the best work gloves I have used. I would go through a pair of hardware store gloves in a month. These are now going on 3 months of yard work, stone hauling, wood cutting and not showing any signs of wear. I have to get another pair for my actual crag glove where I handled gas/oil. Dexterity is also very good.
Rated 5 von 5 von Reems aus Best Belaying Gloves I Have Used The Crag Gloves are very versatile and work very well while belaying. Their only downfall is that after 2 weeks of constant use, you can see the wear and tear on the gloves. Other than that, these work like a charm and will take anything.
Rated 2 von 5 von Wade aus Good Fit and Ventalation I bought the Crag Gloves to use during my Rock and summer Alpine Guiding, these in particular because they fit my hand well, most other gloves have too long of a pinky finger. The stitching holding the velcro on the wrist came apart in the first couple days of use - less than 10 uses. I did a quick repair job but should not have had too, hence the lesser rating on this review. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the fit and feel of the glove.
