PIEPS Tour Pro 34 JetForce Avalanche Airbag Pack wurde bewertet mit 4.7 von 5 von 3.
Rated 5 von 5 von aus Awesome pack I bought this pack a month ago and its now my go-to backcountry pack. The electronic trigger is a no-brainer (sorry CO2), and allowed me to take the pack with me on the plane for a trip to Japan. The pack is super comfy and is designed very well. Also, one should note that it holds a snowboard, whereas the other BD jetforce bags do not. For recommended design changes, I would second the ones suggested by the previous reviewer, namely: (i) would be nice if skins could fit in the front pocket and if the front pocket had a drain hole, and (ii) the helmet holder is not entirely secure; would be better if it matched the system on the non-airbag BD bags. Buy this bag, you can't go wrong!

Rated 4 von 5 von aus heavey weight air pack purchased Dec. 2016 use: day trips only I used this pack during the '17 season in various locations from Kootenay to Colorado to Chic-Choc. in AT and slack country terrain. I purchased this pack because I need to fly my pack and sorry compressed cylinders your history. others A'tx make a nice air pack but the BD-Pieps won out on size and price point. Pros: best air bag deployment system, great for flying, no refills or cartridges. Cons: Heavy, front tool, access is small. helmet would fall out of helmet hammock and prevents access to tools. non-removable battery this is currently the best Avi pack on the market if you can handle the weight. Hey DB are you listening: I would LOVE BD to add a side pocket to hold a field note book and sleeve for a 2m folding ruler that can be accessed while wearing the pack. also a front tool pocket with a larger butterfly opening ( for quick & easy access) that can hold skins and has drainage holes for snow melt coming off tools. the helmet hammock needs to be reengineered. the top pocket should hold 2m foldable ruler, note book, eye loupe, snow card and thermometer with room. better yet make top pocket a flap that hinges open with elastic loops to organize all those items. a hydration system would be nice too. thanks for listen

Rated 5 von 5 von aus Great backpack I bought this backpack to replace a compressed air-based airbag backpack from a different company because I was traveling quite a bit this winter for backcountry tours and didn't want to have to deal with charging/discharging the compressed air cylinder for every trip. The backpack has a lot of nice features (besides the inflatable airbag): - The pack will fit (barely) in the space underneath an airplane seat so I can carry it on along with a roller bag for the overhead compartment and only need to check my snowboard bag - The pack sits fairly close to your back so it doesn't through off your center of gravity too much while riding. - The carry straps on the back can be used to carry skis or a snowboard, and I found them useful for carrying my collapsable ski poles while snowboarding down the mountain - It is easy to access the main storage compartment from both the top and back of the pack - The compartment for your avy tools easily holds a shovel, probe and your climbing skins and allows you to keep these potentially wet items away from your dry stuff in the main compartment. When traveling on an airplane, this compartment also works well for carrying a laptop. - I've only done test deployments, and have not had to deploy it during an actual avalanche but the airbag system has worked as described. After being deployed, the airbag packs up very easily and can ready for another deployment in only a couple of minutes (no special folding pattern is required). - Given the airbag system, the pack doesn't seem to hold as much as you might expect for a 34-36 L pack, but once you get used to it, you find that it really does have more than enough space for almost anything you could need for a day tour. Some things that work well but could be better: - The helmet carry system works fairly well, although the loops for the top of the carry strap are difficult to find and are almost hidden by the straps for the avy tools compartment - The google pocket at the top of the pack holds a lot of stuff for easy access but it would be nice if it was fleece lined - The shoulder straps have nice flexibility to them, but I found that I needed to make sure that the chest strap was tightened so the shoulder straps didn't want to slide laterally. The pack is not really compatible with a hydration bladder unless you don't fully close the zips to the main storage compartment. I did that a couple of times, but then the hydration bladder tubing froze, so I just ended up keeping the hydration bladder fully inside the main storage compartment. Overall, it is a great backpack, and I highly recommend it.
