Black Diamond Return Policy and Process Disclaimer—PLEASE READ FIRST
The following information is for orders placed directly through the Black Diamond website only. For warranty and other return information please go here. You must have a Black Diamond website or mail order generated order number to return something using the following information. Return of items or gift order purchased through other BD dealer websites or locations must be arranged through those dealers within their specific return policies.
Black Diamond accepts returns for refund within 30 days of the original purchase date. Items must be returned in brand new, unused condition, with all hang tags and packaging intact. Items returned to us in used or other condition will be returned back to you. Original order shipping charges, if applicable, are not refundable.
NO-HASSLE RETURNS AND CONVENIENT FedEx RETURN LABEL
With every order we provide a FedEx Return Label for convenient no-hassle returns. If you use the provided return label we deduct a flat rate of $8.00 from your refund for orders sent from within the contiguous 48 states. Returns sent from Alaska or Hawaii will have a flat rate of $15 is deducted from your refund. Sorry, we cannot provide a return label for International returns (including Canada). Please use a ship method best suited to you and choose a method that will provide you tracking information and insurance. We cannot be responsible for your return until it is received at our distribution center.

RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER REQUIRED
You must contact us for a Return Authorization Number (RA). This allows faster processing and quicker refunds. Simply fill in the following information and we will respond within 1-2 business days with a Return Authorization Number (RA). Can't find your order number or confused about the return process? How to find your order number — Please provide the following information to receive your Return Authorization Number (RA). Return information will be sent to you via the email address used to place your original order. Refunds and exchanges are typically processed within 2-3 business days of receipt of your return (if not earlier), holidays excepted.
NO EXCHANGE POLICY
We do not accept orders or items for exchange. Please return your item or order for a full refund and place a new order at your convenience. Refunds are done promptly and placing the new order now just ensures that you'll get it quickly, and that it won't go out of stock.
RETURN AN ORDER ON YOUR OWN
If you choose to return your order without using the provided return label, be sure to ask us for a required RA number as above. Write the RA number on the outside of your package. If you already threw out your packing slip, you can still return any order. Follow these same steps above, but write the RA number on a slip of paper and include that with your item. Please use a method best suited to you and choose a method that will provide you tracking information and insurance. We cannot be responsible for your return until it is received at our distribution center. Items must be returned in brand new, unused condition, with all hang tags and packaging intact.
