Lars Ole Gudevang's First Free Ascent of Fraulein 8c, Kvam in Sogndal, Norway

The first part is steep- with pinches, crimps, slopes and underclings, and the final 7 meters ends with a very steep crack. Fingerlocks, finger and hand jams all the way to the anchor. It is 28 meters long, 13 meters of overhang and has 49 moves.... [READ MORE]

    Winger For The Weekend #65

Putting together a Winger like this one can't be easy. The timing, the choreography, the chemistry... heck, they put some effort into this sucker. Of course, it also begs the question of why you'd want to orchestrate such a video in the first place. Maybe they were bored and didn't have access to the Internet and were too tired for sexy time?... [READ MORE]

    Winger For The Weekend #66

You want an overstoker? Check out the drummer in Winger For The Weekend #66. Oh yeah, that's the definition of overstoker! He's playing a ZZ Top cover in some crappy cover band at what looks like a empty fairgrounds venue while wearing a gold sequined suit jacket—and he's unleashing that level of insane stoke? Winner, winner, chicken dinner!... [READ MORE]

BD Athlete Adam Pustelnik climbs Action Direct at Frankenjura

I first visited Frankenjura  in 1999. Squatting in the bushes behind Barenschlucht Wand, we spent two weeks crimping the best pockets available. I went there annually for next 4 years, and it really pushed the level of my sport climbing. After repeating Shangri-La (XI-/XI), Action Direct seemed the next logical step. But the mind can play...
