Reinach, Switzerland (December 14, 2010) — Black Diamond Equipment, Ltd. is working with the European Union Community Rapid Information System for Dangerous Products (RAPEX) on a voluntarily-announced recall of a limited portion of 2010 Black Diamond AvaLung Packs because of a possibility that the intake tubing may crack under cold temperatures.

Any AvaLung Pack that falls within the criteria above is potentially part of the recall should be immediately returned to Black Diamond for replacement (anticipated replacement time is March 2011). The replacements will bear a mark confirming that the product has been fixed.

Dezember, 2010) — Black Diamond Equipment, Ltd. gibt heute inZusammenarbeit mit dem Schnellwarnsystem der EU für gefährliche Konsumgüter (RAPEX), einen freiwilligen Rückruf der Black Diamond AvaLung Rucksäcke bekannt. Dies betrifft eine eingegrenzte Anzahl an Rucksäcken, bei welchen die Möglichkeit besteht, dass der Atemschlauch unter kalten Temperaturen bricht.
Diese Rückrufaktion betrifft nur eine bestimmte Produktionsmenge der 2010 produzierten AvaLung Rucksäcke, welche durch die Kombination der folgenden PO-Nummer und dem Modell identifiziert werden können: Jeder AvaLung Rucksack der den oben genannten Kriterien entspricht, ist umgehend an Black Diamond zurück zu senden. (Voraussichtliches Lieferdatum des Ersatzartikels: März 2011). Das Ersatzprodukt wird eine Kennzeichnung tragen die bestätigt, dass der Fehler behoben wurde. Um eine reibungslose Abwicklung zu gewährleisten, bittet Black Diamond um Folgendes: A. Drucken Sie das zu verwendende Rücksendeformular aus (siehe unten) B. Entfernen Sie die AvaLung Einheit aus Ihrem Rucksack und senden Sie diese an Black Diamond; ODER C. Reinach, Suisse (14 décembre 2010) — Black Diamond Equipment AG a annoncé et travaille actuellement avec European Union Community Rapid Information System for Dangerous Products (RAPEX) sur le rappel volontaire d'une partie des sacs Black Diamond AvaLung suite à un risque de casse du tube de respiration lors d'une utilisation par des températures froides.
Ce rappel concerne une petite partie des quantités de sacs Black Diamond AvaLung fabriqués et vendus en 2010. Ceux-ci peuvent être identifiés par les numéros de PO et modèles suivants :
Tout sac Black Diamond AvaLung qui répond aux critères mentionnés ci-dessus doit être retourné immédiatement à Black Diamond pour être remplacé (remplacement prévu en mars 2011).
Les sacs envoyés en remplacement porteront une marque confirmant que le sac a été réparé.
BD vous demande de :
A. Imprimer le formulaire de retour (ci-dessous)
B. Enlever le système AvaLung de votre sac et le renvoyer à Black Diamond pour remplacement;
OU
C. Renvoyer le sac complet à Black Diamond pour faire remplacer le système AvaLung.

Reinach, Svizzera (14 dicembre 2010) — Black Diamond Equipment, Ltd. sta lavorando con il sistema comunitario di informazione rapida sui prodotti pericolosi — European Union Community Rapid Information System for Dangerous Products (RAPEX) per il richiamo su base volontaria di un numero limitato di zaini AvaLung Black Diamond del 2010 a causa della possibilità che i tubi interni possano rompersi alle basse temperature.

Reinach, Suiza (14 de diciembre de 2010) — Black Diamond Equipment AG colabora con el Sistema de alerta rápida de la Unión Europea para la seguridad de los productos (RAPEX), con el anuncio voluntario de retirada de una partida de mochilas Black Diamond AvaLung del 2010, ya que existe el riesgo de que el sistema de inhalación se agriete cuando es sometido a bajas temperaturas.
La retirada solamente afecta a una parte limitada de la línea de producción de mochilas Black Diamond AvaLung fabricadas durante el 2010, que pueden identificarse por la combinación de pedido de compra y numeración siguiente:
