I haven´t really figured out why I got totally addicted to skiing… I grew up in a small village, Lomma, in the absolute flat parts of Sweden. A typical winter day setup here is five plus degrees, rain and wind. The very few days we actually get some snow it doesn’t take long before the thaw comes. The only real winter I got was the family ski-trip, which for me became the highlight of every year. But that was it, one week of skiing, way better than nothing but somehow it kind of sucked. Because ever since my Mom put me on skis for the first time I´ve been hooked.
So maybe it´s the huge lack of snow and mountains during my childhood, that now have led me spending my winters searching for the white gold and untracked faces all around the globe. Maybe it´s as simple as the fact that freeriding just kicks ass!! To be out in the nature with huge peaks and deep pow, having a great time with my friends exploring different mountains. Finding new lines to charge down in big turns and cliffs to huck, getting them sweet adrenaline kicks. This mix gives me that special feeling, a feeling which for me is hard to find elsewhere.
