Jacqui Edgerly

USA USA

Birthday? March 28, 1989

Year you first started skiing? 1991

Three skiing achievements you are most proud of? Second Overall for Freeride World Tour 2009, Young Gun Award, evolving to the skier I am today.

Memory/story of the first time you ever went skiing? Too long ago...

Favorite skiing area and why? Whistler/Blackcomb and Jackson Hole. The side country is so easily accessible and the terrain is endless!

What's your dream trip? Where? With who? I'd love to and have always dreamed of getting dropped of by a heli on top of fresh steep lines somewhere in BC or AK. And I'm always down for a trip to the tropics to an epic point break...to surf the waves and eat fresh food everyday. I like traveling with simple, straight to the point, high energy folks that like to have a good time!

Guilty pleasure? Sex, drugs and whomp.

BD gear you use every time you go skiing? Fixed Length Carbon Poles.

Something that annoys you while skiing? When I am skiing I am usually pretty stoked on life, but my sixth toe does suck.

What/who inspires you in skiing? All the skiers/riders integrating the playfulness of tricks with the natural landscapes of the mountains.

Favorite après-ski meal? Usually drinking beer fills ya up pretty nice. Anything really, I'm usually pretty famished.

Favorite skiing flick? All.I.Can. by Sherpas Cinema

What's in your iPod? All those songs that getcha movin'.

Three things you'd never road trip without? Music, Tempurpedic pillow and my dancing shoes!

Superstitions? Naaa...

What's your dream job? I prefer to think of it as a lifestyle. I'd like to have my own massage studio/healing center where I could offer massage, yoga, meditation and sell and share my herbal healing creations. And of course I hope to continue to travel around the world skiing!

How are you training when you are not skiing? I usually stick to the outside adventures such as mountain biking, surfing, climbing or just exploring around the forest and the mountains. I do my best to maintain a regular yoga practice and I've started training in the gym a bit.

If you could steal one thing and not get caught, what would it be? Brand new Sportsmobile and a brand new mountain bike.

If you could have dinner with three people (dead or alive) who would they be? Rudolf Steiner, Salvador Dalí and Bob Marley.

Do you have any tattoos or piercings? Nothing exciting.
