BD athlete Adam Ondra redpoints WoGü (8c) and onsights Hotel Supramonte (8b+)

Between the summer and fall of 2008, Black Diamond athlete Adam Ondra, the world’s new sport climbing wunderkind, attempted two separate multi-pitch routes: WoGü (8c) and Hotel Supramonte (8b+). The route in Ratikon, WoGü, had never been freed, and the other, Hotel Supramonte in Sardinia, had yet to be onsighted. The young Czech surprisingly conquered both feats, raising the bar for climbing on routes of this kind. With him for both ascents was fellow BD athlete Pietro Dal Pra. Although the news of Ondra's ascents may be old, here are a few photos of Ondra on WoGü taken by Beat Kammerlander, the man who orginally bolted the line.

i read this article from top to bottom. i did not stop before i finished!! it is the most inspiring sports climbing article i have ever read :) Now i have a dream "to climb multi-pitch with Adam" to climb anything with him!! i see him a great person! and the most inspiring climber ever :) i am hoping to contact him someday soon for some amazing routes in my country. but till now, there's no bolted hard routes at his level. Hopefully we'll do one soon. Adam you're great!! keep it up, and keep on traveling to everywhere and climb everything!! we all support you
