VIDEO: BD grassroots athlete Hayden Kennedy sending Carbondale Short Bus (5.14-) in Indian Creek
At only 22 years old, Black Diamond grassroots athlete Hayden Kennedy has already collected a slew of hard repeats and first ascents on rock, ice and big mountains the world over. So we weren't terribly surprised when this past spring, fresh off his season in Patagonia (check out his trip reports HERE and HERE), he rolled down to Indian Creek and put down a long-standing open project that is a hot contender for the Creek's hardest line. Carbondale Short Bus (5.14-) tackles a short, bouldery micro-seam that is protected exclusively with Camalot C3's, including two 000-size pieces at the crux!
