VIDEO: BD athlete Raphael Slawinski rock and ice action
Black Diamond athlete Raphael Slawinski is an all-around climbing master and this video clip, produced by Robert Rogoz, showcases that skillset beautifully. In this clip Raph climbs wild ice lines, burly mixed caves, multi-pitch rock routes and limestone clip-ups all with his impeccable percision and style.

I love that Raphael is a physics profession and super hardcore. I had the opportunity to photography Raphael a couple of year's ago on his home turf in the Canadian Rockies (http://www.miketittelblog.com/2009/12/08/from-the-archives-going-to-the-sun-highway/). What a great ambassador for BD! He is a super nice guy and makes every move look so easy.

I am hoping to finish this film next months, when I travel back to the Rockies. I have much lighter cameras now, so if conditions permit I'll try to shoot some real alpine footage with Raph.
Indeed he is one of the nicest and most motivated people I know- hope I can capture this on the film for the rest of you to enjoy.
