Winger #22 comes from the esteemed Dr. Steve Downes, a philosophy professor at the University of Utah and the former president of the Salt Lake Climbers Alliance, which works with local land managers to maintain and improve climber access to the multitude of crags around SLC. Dr. Downes has in the past expressed concern that perhaps some of us here at Black Diamond are too stoked (aka, "over-stoked") and hoped this news clip would enlighten us to the very real dangers of being stoked.

Yeah!! on saturday my dudebro took a whipper onto an ice screw, blew the screamer, and stopped two feet off the ground. we were so stoked.
