Octane pack, Fusion ice tools and Justice skis receive rave reviews

2009 was a very gratifying year here at Black Diamond as we received a record number of awards for our innovative, high-quality products. 2010 starts off the same way, with a host of products getting top marks from major publications. Below are three of the most recent sections of praise...

Editors at Outside China recognized the game-changing innovation of the Active Frame Technology employed in our new Launch and Enduro packs by picking the Octane as winner of  their 2010 Gear of the Year. Impressed by the range of motion in both the SwingArm Shoulder Straps and ergoACTIV Hipbelt, Outside China referred to the Octane pack as the most motion friendly design they had ever seen. Nice!

 

In Rock and Ice's March 2010 ice issue, the new Fusion is given four stars. Citing the Fusion's new lighter weight as being the most notable improvement (thanks to its one-of-a-kind single piece shaft of hydroformed aluminum), the editors at Rock and Ice also liked the Fusion's removable spike, stainless steel head and integrated hammer.  For modern mixed climbing, Rock and Ice says, "it's the new Fusion all the way!" Nice! Nice!

And the crew at Skiing picked the Justice in its recent February issue, recommending it as a top powder ski for your powder-day quiver. Nice! Nice! Nice!
