Build My Own FeedSummer Instagram Contest Winners Announced
On August 1, 2012 we launched our inaugural Summer Instagram Contest. We asked our fans and followers to submit current Instagram photos of their summer activities or what represented the summer season to them. We received over 1400 entires and some of them were incredibly creative. We whittled it down to 16 finalists and had a voting panel made of up 17 employees cast secret votes for their top three favorite photos. We tallied it all up and although the competition was very close in certain instances, a Grand Prize Winner and two Runners Up clearly emerged. A huge shout out to all who participated and remember to follow us on Instagram and Facebook as we'll be holding these contests seasonally. Now, without further adieu, we present the winners of our inaugural Summer Instagram Contest!

We're not sure where @spencersuvanto captured this image, but we love it. Climbing is anywhere and everywhere. You are only limited by your imagination. Obviously, we love getting outside into the beauty of nature. But, there's plenty of beauty to be found in those lost, discarded places that haven't been considered a part of "nature" for a long, long time. @spencersuvanto wins a $100 Black Diamond gift certificate.

How many of us grew up with a swing set in the backyard? How many of us were lucky enough to have our parents teaching us the ins and outs of climbing, belaying and rappeling? This photo says "summer" and we love that this guy is teaching the love to his son very early on. Lucky kid, that one. @deshoward wins a $100 Black Diamond gift certificate.
