1st Annual Salt Lake Climbers Alliance fundraiser—Thursday, May 20 at Black Diamond
Black Diamond is hosting the 1st Annual Salt Lake Climbers Alliance Fundraiser on the BD campus here in Salt Lake City, Utah on Thursday, May 20 from 6-10 pm. It’s a night of music, food, slideshows, gear raffle, friends and fun, celebrating the alpine spirit of Seth Shaw and raising money for the Salt Lake Climbers Alliance, a grassroots organization of climbers that helps protect access and maintain crags throughout the Wasatch.
The slideshow will be presented by some of Salt Lake City’s most prolific climbers from the 1980s and 1990s, including Brian Smoot, Jeff Pederson, Dave Budge, Drew Bedford and BD’s own Doug Heinrich. If you climb in the Wasatch, this is one show you won’t want to miss! Desert Edge Brewery will provide food and beverages and Lortsher & Vlasic will be doing the catering.
Tickets are $35 per person, and premium tickets are $50, which cover entrance to the event, an SLCA yearly membership, t-shirt and gym passes. (While they last!) Tickets can be purchased at the Black Diamond retail store located at 2084 East 3900 South or I.M.E. located at 3265 East 3300 South.
