CLIMB SMART Climber's Gathering, October 23-25, 2009, Joshua Tree National Park, California
Kick off the Joshua Tree climbing season with Black Diamond Athlete/Patagonia Ambassador Brittany Griffith and Patagonia Ambassador Ron Kauk. They and other notable climbers, as well as AMGA guides from Wilderness Outings, will offer clinics for all abilities and manage top-ropes for climbers all weekend.
Evening entertainment includes featured athlete multimedia presentations, Saturday Night festivities at the Community Center in Joshua Tree, Dinner Feast, vendor fair, silent auction, prizes for best costume and the famous Friends of Joshua Tree mega raffle.
So hone your skills, win some gear, camp out with kindred spirits and give back to the park. FREE camping is available at Indian Cove, but space is limited so reserve today. All proceeds to benefit Friends of Joshua Tree, Joshua Tree Search and Rescue and the Access Fund.
