BD athletes Samuel Anthamatten and Angel Collinson claim second overall finishes at Freeride World Tour
Black Diamond athletes Samuel Anthamatten and Angel Collinson claimed second overall finishes in the 2011 Freeride World Tour, which wrapped up last weekend at Verbier, Switzerland. A huge congratulations to both of them!
Throughout the six-stop tour, Samuel and Angel both managed to battle out impressive wins and crucial points against the world’s top competitive freeride skiers—Samuel won in Russia and Angel won in California and Chamonix. Samuel and Angel both skied on protos of next year’s Zealot skis. (Sorry, the new Zealots won’t be available for sale until August, but you’ll for sure want to get a pair then!)
It's also worth noting that Angel dominated the similarly-titled-but-different Freeskiing World Tour in North and South America this year, winning four of the six events and easily taking home that tour's overall title.
