Dawn Patrol application launched on Facebook—enter to win now!

dawn patrolBack in the early 1990s, the late, great Alex Lowe (a.k.a., The Fiend) was the commander-in-chief of a crew of Black Diamond employees that would wake up at inhuman hours in order to score turns before having to be at work at 9 A.M. … a task dubbed by The Fiend as “dawn patrol.” This ritual has been embraced by BD employees and other dedicated skiers ever since as both an expression of our passion for skiing and the ultimate tribute to The Fiend himself.

In an effort to spread the dawn patrol culture, we are inviting you to share your stories and photos through our new Dawn Patrol app on Facebook during the 2011-12 ski season. The payoff?
