The glacier high above Saas-Fee finally began to regularly freeze and the summer ski season went into full-swing just after the 4th of July. And while most of the skiers up there were eyeing the kickers in the funpark or the gates on the race course, Black Diamond Europe's own Thomas Hodel, Ricky Buckenlei and Dan Caruso were up there to test the last prototypes for Black Diamond’s 2010 Efficient Series skis. Although these prototypes still may need some minor tweaks before they can be considered perfect and ready for the market, they are all well on their way to raising the bar of touring-ski performance.
