VIDEO: BD athlete Steve Romeo skiing around New Zealand's Franz Josef Glacier
Black Diamond athlete Steve Romeo recently returned from his trip to the snowy peaks and glaciers of New Zealand (read his trip reports here and here) and sent us the following video that showcases some of the stellar terrain and turns he got into. Pretty nice!
Here's a little video compilation of a few sunny days I spent at the Centennial Hut on the Franz Josef Glacier in New Zealand last month. The weather was wicked—hot, burning sun, fierce gales, snow and rain. Luckily I skedaddled down to the town of Franz when the rains came, before heading back up to another location a few days later. Long, consecutive weather days in a hut can get pretty old, stinky and boring, so you're better off spending it where there's heaps of Tuis to drink instead! Sweet as!!!
