Arc Gloves is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor sizing I bought the impulse in a medium and it fit. So then I bought this glove in a medium and my hand doesn't even fit inside. I find the sizing of black diamond gloves to differ greatly from model to model so hard to purchase online. This has happened twice now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent grip, low insulation I'm on my second pair of these, and use them now exclusively for ice climbing. Fantastic grip and just warm enough to keep the hands from freezing. Learned some lessons from the first pair which ended up getting prematurely trashed. Don't use them on days when you plan to climb in single digit temps.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great feel and dexterity. Have been using these gloves for about 3 yrs. They are great after your first climb. Good to about 15°. They are my go to gloves as of late. Great feel and I can handle gear easily. The latest ones I bought have an incredibly tight wrist though. which makes it hard to put on. My previous pair weren't quite as tight. As

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice for moderate weather I bought this pair in hope to have my fingers not get cold inside gloves.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Ice gloves These were my first and still favorite pair of ice climbing gloves. My only complaint is that they fit a little sloppy (though I have yet to find an ice glove that fits better) I usually climb 6 to 12 times a year-these lasted me 4 seasons before a seam blew out. These gloves are a good compromise of tactility and warmth. They also keep the water out well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around glove for snow and avie work. I am ski guide in BC and have used these gloves almost exclusively for the past three years. I like the dexterity to warmth balance and only go to my warmer gloves on really cold days. I do go through a pair about every season but guiding takes its toll on any gear. The thumbs and fingers blow out first but a little stitching keeps them good for the season.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Almost perfect but major Cons Bought them for ice climbing, because I think they could be the perfect glove all around, what ever the weather, but : Poor fit: -feels the palm girth is 1cm to narrow, so you cannot fully open your hand -also feels that the glove could be slightly longer, because the velcro block some mouvement -the medium size is way to big Poor design: -the seams between the index and the thumb rip open, it is the same thing with the Terminator glove Pros : -the Pittards Oil Tac leather is probaly the best leather for climbing gloves -It's the perfect amount of insulation for an ice climbing glove, wera them between 0 to -30'C

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great glove for milder weather ice climbing I purchased these a couple years ago for ice climbing in milder weather. As noted, the Arc gloves are a bit of a challenge to put on and remove, especially if your hands are damp. However, once on these glove have great grip and dexterity, so I don't need to take them off. I usually put on at the start of a pitch, and take off at the belay if I want to warm/dry them in my clothes. The OilTac leather is quite grippy, so my advice is don't try to rappel in them. So far mine have held up well over several seasons of winter climbing. I think these work better than the mixed-specific BD gloves - a bit warmer as they get damp, adequately snug and grippy.
