Rated 4 out of 5 by Alisse from Good, but competition demands more New slings look great! They do not look like the original ones precisely (not machine-cut, no tag) but they look bomber! I wish they had a date tag. Great turn-around time, even when I suspect BD might be busy. Sent them May 20 via FedEx, got them back June 1. Excellent communication throughout the process. What is not great is that other companies that sell this service clean, inspect, and/or lube cams. BD does not do any of these things. Why not? It's a shame. Thanks for the quick resling; however, getting the cams back clean and shiny and with date tags would make my review five stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nate from Expensive but necessary I've been using my C4 cams (.5-4) since 2010. The nylon was getting fuzzy and the colors were noticeably faded. Because of "industry recommendations" and the lack of any real, hard data on nylon longevity, it seemed time for a re-sling. I could have done it myself on the cheap, but I don't have an industrial sewing machine for doing the bar tacking... so off to BD they went. The price seems a bit steep for how cheap the material is and how little effort is required to do the work, but given that it is the only viable option, well, here we are. The slings came back as good as new and the turnaround was less than three weeks. Thanks BD!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Joshua from solid service provided Getting my cams reslung was easy and efficient. Spiffy new slings for all of them, and all the correct colors. Overall, a great thing to do, since now they should perform safely for many more years. But I do have to note... BD cam reslinging was $8 each, plus shipping. For $3 each, Metolius reslung their cams with a sling that included a date tag, and they cleaned and relubed each unit. Now my Metolius cams operate smoothly, and they look virtually new. It would be nice if BD added those little extras to their cam service. Nonetheless, the bottom line is that BD's service worked.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Josh from As expected This service is as advertised. I sent in 11 cams and had them back in about 3 weeks. The colors are all matching. As is mentioned below I would also like a BD tag with date. I also had sent 8 power cams to their manufacturer and had them returned in 2 weeks all clean and spiffy and for only $3/cam. Based on the market for re-slings BD can get away with $8/cam but I think they could up their game with the slings and cam service for that price. All-in-all, I'm satisfied with the product and service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Aaron from Timely and Quality Dropped my cams off in person at the store. The employees were very helpful and gave me great advice, as I was restoring some older gear inherited from a friend. Cams were done in just over a week, and I was able to pick them up. Price is more than many competitors in the market, who not only do the resting service but also a "cleaning and tuneup" inspection for about half the price. That is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Joseph from Wrong sling color, loose ends left Just got my cams back, many loose strings and haphazardly hot knifed webbing. Worst of all is my number 4, which now had purple webbing instead of gray. Disappointed in quality of service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Michel from Timely and well done What you see is what you get: the cams were promptly reslung (took only about two weeks from sent to recieved) and I really appreciated how customer service kept me in the loop (when my cams were recieved, sent, etc...) As others have mentionned however, the service is a bit expensive in comparison to other companies and while the job was good, I think that a bit more could have been done for the cams while they were at a ligitimate service center than strictly a re-slinging job (an inspection or cleaning, for example).

Rated 1 out of 5 by MissingCams from Horrible service! I am thoroughly disappointed with the service. How hard is it to QA 13 cams before shipping them back? Issues: 1) One cam still had the old sling on it. As a side note, they did not sew in new tags with dates, which would have been nice so you know when they were re-slung. 2) I sent 13 cams, I received 11. 3) I never got any kind of notice they were even being shipped back, just happened to spot them sitting outside late at night. $5 package, fine. $700 package, not so fine.
