Rated 5 out of 5 by Chris from Works Well I've only used it for sport routes so far, at the end of a lead, clip a quickdraw, then the lead rope, and then clip the PAS to the anchors, and add the second top roping quick draw. Great for cleaning the anchor too, clip it in and then clean - there's been enough length, adjustability for my uses. A couple of notes; storing it during the lead seems cumbersome but works; have it pre-threaded into the harness as instructed, and clipped into the forward harness gear loop, this way it is ready to go. Also, when rappelling you can use it as a back up for your main harness belay loop; just clip one of the PAS loops close to the attachment into the rappel 'biner - a nice back up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Eric from Long overdue! We use a pair of these girth-hitched through the soft tie-in points to attach handled ascenders to. I have longer than usual arms and one of us doesn't. This works extremely well to adjust the length of ascender travel to the person's reach. I really love this thing, saves us time and frustration, plus you don't have to totally unhook to shorten one, just have to open the biner and slip another loop in. The only thing they could do is offer one with one more loop on it. Every so often, that would be useful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Matt from Essential for multi pitch climbing I like this better than Metolious' version for ice and alpine climbing. The material is more supple. I like Metolious' longer version for rock climbing. If you are not extending your belay device on rappel you should. Using this it is easy to extend and backup your rappel as well as to test the system before you unclip from the anchor. It is simply a better way. It is also nice to always have a way to go in direct quickly for both cleaning anchors and multi-pitch climbing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kevin from An excellent lightweight alternative I've used and loved another PAS for years so when I saw the BD Link in the store I had to check it out. After learning the BD Link is 1/2 the weight and just as strong as my current PAS I knew it was time for a change. It is one link shorter than my previous system but in my experience I've rarely needed that extra length so it is a "shortcoming" that I'm willing to live with.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Timothy from Good! Not quite as flexible as just using a Nylon Runner, but dose an amazing job for what it is designed to do!

Rated 5 out of 5 by SamS from I love the Link Personal Anchor System! The best gear in my opinion is simple, easy-to-use, and lightweight -- that is exactly why I love the Link Personal Anchor System from BD. The Link is the perfect safety device for building up an anchor for a top rope climb, or taking down the anchor when we're finished with a sport route. I pair the Link with two Positron Screwgate Carabiners, which easily fit in the chains on most climbing routes. This system is lightweight and easy to manage on any climb.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jason from Good idea, but could be longer The Link Personal Anchor System is lighter than competitors, which I am a huge fan of, but is a bit shorter than I prefer when working at the anchors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sam from Easy to use protection when climbing Simple, lightweight, and easy to use. The Link Personal Anchor System is an essential for setting up and cleaning climbs. Works well when paired with two Positron Screwgate Carabiners. These smaller carabiners fit easily in chains or bolts. Very happy.
