Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wish I’d bought one sooner I love the design of this pack. Opens up so you can get to everything and the rope tarp is just icing on the cake

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most versatile duffel ever made I cannot recommend this duffel enough. It's a good crag pack, though the Crag 40 is better for that, holds more, and is only $10 more. But this bag is SO MUCH MORE than a crag pack. The opening mechanism, the way the zipper goes all the way across, works so well - you can easily put stuff in, but it also holds things in well while partially unzipped, in this hard-to-describe perfect way. It compresses down flat, but can hold so much and take such a beating. And it looks nice enough to carry or wear around all day, in day-to-day life. I use it to move and store my gym stuff while at work. I use it to move and store my work stuff while at the gym. I use it for my clothes and camp stuff on weekend trips. I bike commute a lot, and it makes panniers unnecessary. It's the best grocery bag I've ever used - really. It's a great shopping bag, period. I use it as a carry-on. On an international climbing trip, I put it in my checked bag. Then used it as my crag pack for days. Then I used it as a carry-on after getting gifts and such. I've used it in some capacity on most days over the past 2 years, and it looks almost new. On top of all that it comes with an awesome removable rope tarp, which I just use by itself. Just buy this bag – you won’t regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Duffle I have a Stone Duffel that I've used extensively for a few years now. They are simple, durable, inexpensive, and great for a lot of uses. Love them for international travel because of the size (carry on), and versatility (you can tuck the backpack straps inside the back to keep them from getting snagged in the airport). I often pack this inside my checked suitcase and pull it out for cragging, or use it as a carry on for shorter trips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost the Perfect Crag Pack! I got this just over a week ago, and I'm already in love with it! It allows for easy packing between crags during the day, and it packs more neatly than my previous top loading pack, which was 45L. The full zipper is awesome; It's easy to get a ton of stuff in here! I also think the built in rope tarp is incredible because it help to control the yard sale at the crag. I think there are two things that would improve this pack: outside pockets, as a lot of other reviews have mentioned, would be great for storing keys or wallet so that they are easily accessible when you get back to the car. It would also be awesome if the rope tarp could be synched up a little neater when putting it back into the pack just to help keep the rope compact. Best crag pack I've ever owned or used, great work BD!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So glad I bought this! It was bigger than I thought it would be (that's what she said...)! Was carrying 2 different packs to the crag and now all my gear fits in the Stone Duffel with room to spare.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Crag Pack I bought this right before a trip to Red Rocks. This bag was the perfect size for all of my gear. I fit all of my lunch and small gear in the side pockets. Then in the main compartment, I fit a rope, 12 quickdraws, camp chair, harness, and water bottles. I put my shoes and chalk bag on the outside but I could have fit those inside as well. This bag is super comfortable to carry even when its fully loaded. DB nailed the backpack part of this bag even though its technically a duffel. This bag is comfortable and has a lot of space. Improvements: I wish there was a divider to keep my smaller items of gear from sliding down into the rope portion when I take the rope out. More gear loops on the outside would help too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I wanted. Was looking for a overall climbing bag, for sport, trad and bouldering and very happy with the duffel style as well as a backpack for those hike in areas. The organization within is great for just what I need when I'm out climbing. Plus feels nice and rugged and like it is going to hold up well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like a small car with lots of room. The amount of storage this bag offers never ceases to amaze me. It rides well during multipitch ascents and can pack everything for long approaches. With over 6 months of use, The zippers and shell seem to be holding up well
