Rated 5 out of 5 by Fire Lookout from Nice I work during the Fire Season as a Fire Lookout. I use this during storms when I’m noting down strikes. It sits on the Osborne Firefinder, dimmed way down. Works great for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by epicmickey28 from Black Diamond Voyager Lantern - Wonderful! My friend recommended this lantern to me, so I got it! I couldn't be more happy with it! It's very bright yet small and the dimmable settings are excellent! I highly recommend this lantern!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jrbusse from Durable and bright I recently took this on a 115 night repel I was badically the guide at the tip dealing with hardware and setting people up to go down. I dropped it off, it fell the 115ft to the bottom and stayed lit. Someone walked it up and it only had minor scratches. What a great and bright product. The only part I don't like is it's tough to keep on a carabiner

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jacob from Great little lantern! Light enough for hiking! The lantern is just bright enough for its weight and I love the option of using it as a flashlight. It's also light enough that it can replace your headlamp on a hike, if you spend most of the night time in camp. Definitely recommend! I also wanted to briefly comment on the professionalism of the BD staff. I ordered the lantern directly from them, and USPS ended up losing the package. I got in touch with BD and they shipped me a replacement the next day. Total professionalism. You guys have just made yourself one extra loyal customer!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Milton from Default brightness level from low to high is better. Water resistant question. Very good lantern. Light the warm light. The light in brightest level when turn on. It may be better to default the at the lowest brightness level when turn on especially in dark condition. By the way, I found there is tiny gap on top between the top cover and the globe. Does it affect the water resistant function?

Rated 4 out of 5 by John from Great little lantern This little lantern does exactly what I need. The lantern is more than bright enough for lighting the picnic table, cooking area, or tent. Good thing it's dimmable...since it's so bright at full power. Works great as a flashlight too. Interface is pretty discoverable, with a single click turning on/off and a double click changing from lantern to flashlight. Three clicks actually turn on both...although I haven't found a need to use both at the same time. Small enough for pack or kayak. Great that it uses replaceable batteries...for easy replacement. It's been running for 7 camping nights on the same set of batteries...with both evening and morning use. The metal hooks on the top are great for hanging the lantern in the tent. I'd have given it 5 if had improved water immunity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bret from Great adjustability, light output, packability I was pleased when I first used this in a tent setting, and impressed with the light output. Also for an LED, it is a soft light more like an incandescent. (remember those?). It collapses for packing and covers the light switch so it does not turn on in your pack. It is a little larger than I expected but not by much. It is about the diameter of and 2/3 the height of a can of RedBull. I found the light adjust-ability to be a great feature. I'll never leave this essential piece behind.
