First Shot Ice Screw Guide is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works, but not practical Pro -It gives you a 100% V-thread every time. -It won’t impale you if you land on it or catch on your pants or gear. Con - Just too much bulk. - The adjustments in lengthy are sloppy. - Takes too long to use - The rivet that holds to two parts of the hook together doesn’t provide enough tension so it is constantly folding in on itself during use. Bottom line, it works but overcomplicates a simple product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty handy in a jam I've only used the first shot twice in "real world" conditions and it was great, no more guessing at the correct angle and hoping the holes match up. I would recommend practicing with it a bit before you find yourself really needing it. The hole cleaner/ sling puller is a nice touch. Almost worth it just for that alone.
