Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost worked Fit is subjective so I only took off 1 star. The model wearing these pants clearly has room in the seat and thigh, however the size 36 I tried were skin tight in the seat and thighs. I’m a life-long skier and quite tall at 6’4”, so perhaps it just comes with the territory. The waist was perfect though. For smaller climber types these might be perfect, but for athletic skier or alpine climbers like myself, even with a fairly flat stomach, they ended up fitting like skinny jeans. If the patterning could be increased proportionately with the waist, I would buy again. (I really wanted these to work!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great climbing/all purpose pants! I bought these pants primarily for climbing, but use them for just about everything now: biking, caving, camping - you name it. They hold up well to a lot of punishment without losing their comfort, form or flexibility. I spent a weekend straight wearing them in the desert wading through waist high manzanita, crawling through lava tunnels, and spilling pancake batter on my pants. Through it all, they endured, and after a quick wash they are as good as new.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool lookin’ and BURLY Got these a few months back and kinda took care of ‘em a little extra.. sorta kept ‘em light-duty, since I liked ‘em so much. Hip, cozy, good colors.. Finally found myself needing a pair of jeans for a Vedauwoo offwidth, and wow.. now they’re my go-to rough stuff pants. Way burly. Weeks of offwidthing now on rugged rock, and no rips, holes, or weird wear. Outstanding, probably my favorite BD pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great from the crag to apres Love these pants, comfortable and stylish at the crag and in town. They're a bit stretchy so I sized down one size from my normal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome casual and climbing pants These make great casual and climbing pants due to the subdued styling and ample stretch. Compared with previous years (I've owned a few pairs of Stretch Font Pants) I think these are a little thicker and feel more durable. Also, the color is very vibrant and true to what is shown on the website.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from pants doing what pants do. Iv'e logged about 15 days in the pants, what I like about the pants - The color accent on the inside seam for when I roll up the cuffs. - The tan "carhart" color - gusseted crotch - I can climb in them then go out to dinner and look like I'm wearing nice pants. What I dislike - The fabric started to pill where my thighs touch (skier leg problems) - I wish they had more stretch - the low butt pockets is kind of weird.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Comfortable I LOVE these pants! They are very comfortable and allow a full range of movement. I love the cut which is slim but not restricting. I wear these as my normal day to day pants but I would have no problem climbing over something that happened to be in my path while wearing these pants. I would love to see different colors though. The slate is a decent grey and the adriatic is a forest green, which is all well and good but the green is a little too green for me sometimes. I would really like this in a blue denim. They seem to be pretty durable. I've been wearing one pair for a year now and they are holding up nicely, just some light fraying on the cuff and, oddly I have recently developed a small hole in the seam of the crotch. I'm not sure what I did to cause that to happen. But the knees are still intact and going strong. If I had one complaint it would be that the zipper tends to open about half an inch to an inch on its own. This, I think, is due to the button design which is attached to the pants on a piece of ribbon that allows the button to slide side to side which accommodates a greater range of movement, but in so doing also causes the zipper to open slightly as well. So, sometimes I find myself being that guy that walks around with his zipper down and everyone is awkwardly trying to decide if they should say something or just let me figure it out eventually.
