Rated 5 out of 5 by Mark from Best gloves - bc skiing, ice climb, snowmobile My favorite gloves ever made for bc skiing. Not too hot for the uphill and VERY breathable b/c there is no W/B membrane. The full leather outer blocks weather really well especially I feel you treat the inside of the glove with Snow Seal or something similar. B/c my hands and the gloves stay dry on the up, they are usually warm enough for the down. Fit in the old version was perfect for me. The new ones seem larger. The new cuff seems to be just the right size since it doesn't have Velcro...not too big but just big enough to go on easily. Small enough to keep out most weather. Still, there's no cuff better than the Kinco style knit cuff but that's my personal preference.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anthony from There is a reason they're called the "Kingpin" Excellent glove. Truly. The dexterity is great, the warmth is moderate, durability is good. Just an all around great glove. I use them primarily for warm-ish weather ski touring descents (not warm eough for <25F and skiing down hill, they don't claim to be either) and leading ice when it's not dripping (no Gore-tex here.) If there could be one improvement, it would be the addition of Gore-tex. Perhaps BD offers another glove that's a relative to the Kingpin with GT but I don't own it. Buy multiple of this glove if they ever go on sale!
