Rated 4 out of 5 by PaulT from Soft, fits well, good length. Purchased these a few weeks back and they seem to be OK, so far. Not as warm as I was hoping. I also haven't been in the backcountry with them yet (digging pits, sweating and freezing and falling in deep snow), so time will tell. However, the workmanship and quality seem very high.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Brons from Great dexterity, but some issues. I bought these gloves around a year ago, and have probably used them upward of 60 days. After the first weekend of skiing they showed a considerable amount of wear, and I was disappointed, however I thought I would try them a little longer. With good nikwax application, the initial wear seems to be considerable, however the long term durability has been alright. Although the leather is very thin and initially seems like it will fall apart it has held up (Could definitely be more durable but you get a very dexterous glove). Also be careful with good skin glue though, it will peel layers from the leather right off. I'd say I will get another solid season in, maybe two, before having to retire them. A significant flaw however for mine was the velcro strap. The loop patch does not line up very well at all with the hooks. If you try to tighten your cuff, you end up with about half the overlap that you should, just with how the tab is positioned. This leads to the glove getting scuffed up more from the hooks, and leaves your cuff less closed than desirable, and less secure. If the strap comes of, and you don't have your jacket sleeves all the way on, I usually end up with snow funnels on my wrist.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Matbouegois from Great glove, way too thin leather I loved these gloves. On the other hand when I got them I felt the leather was thin and hoped they would still last. I've used them only for downhill skiing maybe 30 half days and they are wearing out. I've had cheaper leather gloves that have lasted 3 seasons and they are in great shape.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Kyle Smitty from Nice Looking gloves. Don’t hold up to hard wear Bought these a few months ago for a go to work horse. The leather is incredibly soft ...which is nice for dexterity...but it’s thin and rips really easily. If you’re looking for a hard working glove...this might not be the glove for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jonovision from Black Diamond Warranty is Amazing I bought these gloves for my ski season this year, generally put 25+ days in the Canadian Rockies, mostly resort with some back country and heli. A few observations, I think that -17/18 C rating is a bit of an exaggeration. Generally I found these gloves are good to about -12 C but that is generally a personal preference and maybe I am just being a bit of snowflake. In terms of the marshmallow effect that some others have commented on, I have experienced this, but I believe it is because water moves through the leather layer but is stopped by the Goretex insert from entering the glove. However in the process the insert swells up in the process. (My buddies were having a good laugh as I was wringing my gloves out each time we got on the helicopter, but water never made it through the goretex layer and I think you can prevent this with regular Nikwax treatments) The goat leather used on these gloves is pretty soft and you will have to be very careful around ski edges. Mine developed holes very easily, however I gave this glove a five star rating as BD warranty was absolutely amazing to work with. Overall I have never had a glove with better articulation, but just be careful with them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Turner from Warm and good looking! I use this glove on the coldest days of the year. These things are really warm and have always kept me warm and dry on those 5-6 days a year where it is just frigid. Nix wax comes with and is awesome for waterproofing. I recommend this glove to all of you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by damnbluedog from Great fit! The fit guide showed my hand to be between medium and large. Purchased a large so I could wear liner gloves inside and the fit is perfect. No pinch points and super comfortable, not to mention really warm.
