Rated 5 out of 5 by buggie from Good fit for small hands I've struggled to find mittens that fit my petite hands, but these women's Mercury Mitts in XS fit perfectly. I've been toasty in 0 degree ski days and on warmer days in the back country I have used the shell with black diamond liner mitts, keeping the liner in my backpack for when wind or exposure drops temps. I can't speak to how they hold up yet, but I'm happy with the purchase so far.

I have always had a problem keeping my hands warm while skiing but refuse to use heat warmers because they are annoying to me. I got these because they were rated to -20 and I couldn’t see any reason to get ones which were any warmer. I have worn these gloved in extremely cold weather with wind on the slopes and have not gotten cold hands even if something else on my body is cold. If it is a slightly warmer day I will often take off my mitts on the lift so that they can cool down a little bit. My hands have yet to get cold or wet in these gloves. They are very warm sometimes almost too warm, but I would rather be too warm than cold. Design These mitts are designed to fit snug, comfortable, and to be warm. I have very small hands and they fit me very well. They have adjusted to my hands and now fit like a glove! The mitts adjust at the wrist and at the bottom of the glove so they fit well and no heat escapes. They are waterproof and have a great shell. Durability The gloves are made of nylon which is tough and durable. I have not been easy on these gloves and they look like I have hardly even used them. The liner of the glove is thick and even if it does wear out seems like it would still do it job. I think that these gloves will last me for a several years to come. Pros: Very warm, durable, nice looking design, comfortable, waterproof, available in different sizes with a size guide Cons: Trigger finger seems useless, these mitts are very thick and thus create limited dexterity I did not give this 5 stars because I do not like the trigger finger and when it comes time to buy new gloves will buy one without the trigger finger.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Nicky from Very cold! I bought these gloves which state a temperature rating of -12 C, however it wasn't even that cold out and my hands were freezing the whole time I was skiing. They felt nice and snug when I bought them (right before going out to ski) in size XS, but shortly after I was outside for less than an hour, they felt too large and my fingers were numb. Not pleased.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Catski from Great at first but.... I bought this mitts one year ago. I use them to downhill ski. I have skied 41 days winter 2016-2017 and 10 days so far for the winter of 2017-2018. So in total I have wore them 51 days (let's an average of 5 hours a day). My beautiful mitts are very cold now because the inside of the hands is all packed out now. Completely, you can feel your fingers through the black leather. I am very disappointed, I would have think they would have last longer. I now have to wear a smaller mitt or gloves inside. P.S. the average temperature at our ressort is -5! :-(

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lisa from Super Warm Bought a pair of these 3 years ago for my daughter. She loves them, super warm and comfy. After 3 seasons of downhill skiing it was time to replace the mitts as the liners were finally packed out and not as warm. New pair started this year and she's back to skiing with warm hands. This past year she was also diagnosed with Renaud's and these mitts do the trick keeping her hands warm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DRC_403 from So far so good! I'm a guy with pretty small hands and the men's small was too big, but the xs was too small. The women's small fit perfectly. I've taken it out a few times when it's -35'c in Western Canada on ski hills (Snow is usually dry crud), and so far it's been really good. The mitt is warm enough that my hands don't get chilly on 10min lifts but they don't overheat once I start moving. Trigger finger is really nice for pulling up zippers and putting on snowboard bindings. The removable liner is something new to me, and I really like it. Can't attest to the waterproofing yet though. My only complaint is that I wish the gauntlet on the mitt were 1 inch longer. I find that going through powder or after falling, the snow somehow makes it's way in around my wrists. Great buy for anyone looking for a all around mitt, I just hope that they don't pack out quickly!
