Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tips Great tips. Glad I saw these were available as an option. Bought extra tips, carbide tips, and tip covers so will be set for life. Will use on long adventures and hikes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tips and grip I bought the poles mainly because they can be taken apart and will fit in my checked mid sized luggage when traveling abroad. TSA does not allow poles in carry on. I got the rubber tips which I think is a good opinion because they don't fall off. How ever I think if they were bigger and made of a softer rubber it would give better grip particularly on wet surfaces. Bottom line the tips are good if your trying to not scratch the rocks but if your are looking for good grip they preform poorly. I suggest adding a bigger tip option . Steve from Maine

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have for pavement walking Bought them as replacement of metal tips to walk on pavement, they work great on grassy terrain not sticking into ground. Helps impulse your walking on uneven terrain.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Trail Shock Pro I haven't used my Trail Shock pro at this time. I have a suggestion. If you could engineer the top part of the trekking poles to unscrew to assess a storage area to store additional tips this would be a great help as opposed to storing them somewhere else. Thank you, Bob Fisher.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from worked great Only used a couple times and they worked fine I bought a pair of Black Diamond carbon freaking poles and love them I have an issue with my knee and have been using these about a month while deer hunting even on hikes of half mile or so and won't go without. Keep my from sliding or falling on a steep hillside covered with leaves couple of times great product

Rated 3 out of 5 by from For walking on pavement These do not provide enough "shock absorption" for pavement walking. I contacted customer service, and that department kindly provided tip "protectors" which are a larger rubber covering for these rubber tips. The combination works great for walking on pavement or hard surfaces.
