Rated 5 out of 5 by Gustav from Great glove - beautiful construction & detail. I purchased this glove last fall. I was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews which complained of poor dexterity. No truth to those reviews. The shell of this glove is beatifully made and the goatskin is very supple and moveable. I have gloves from many other manufacturers and these are as dexterous or more than many others. The liner is very impressive, perhaps the beefiest liner of any glove I have. I was on the mountain yesterday in -0- degrees and with a thin liner my hands were quite warm all day. After purchasing this glove and the Dirtbag, my impression of BD being one of the top glove manufacturers is reaffirmed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AlpineSkier from Warm and tough! I recently upgraded my Guide Gloves. The construction appears to still be as good as in the past. The insulation in these gloves is thick dense, and they fit very snugly around the hand. Consider ordering one size larger than you usually get. No glove lasts forever. After about 75-100 days of use these gloves are not as warm as when they are new, but still OK down to about 23 degrees F. And the leather and stitching is still good, so I switch the gloves to warmer weather use, and get a new pair of gloves for colder weather. And yes, after a few weeks of use, you do have to use the waterproofing that Black Diamond includes with the gloves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheepdog from Excellent ski glove Treated with included Nikwax these gloves are standing up to PNW ski conditions sometimes wet, cold windy varible conditions. Warm fingers down to 20 degrees. Sizing is acurate. After wearing a few times gloves have become more supple and feel well made. Inner liner easy to remove and reinsert. Just what i was looking for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Way Way from New favorite I bought these two weeks ago because the pro deal had an extra discount. I’m not a fan of over the cuff gloves but I figured the day would come that I needed them. I do ski patrol so we don’t always have the luxury of leaving when the weather is undesirable. I have been using these gloves for the last week. They are bulky but I can still articulate my fingers to tie knots in ropes and run webbing when needed. I live these gloves and so do my fingers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Paul from Great Design, But Not Particularly Warm My local shop stocked sizes up to Large, but not XL, and my old BD winter gloves, size XL, were shot, so I bought the Guide Glove in Large. perhaps I should have had the shop order XL for me. Great design, but my hands were really cold while skiing in brutal conditions yesterday; the too-small size may have been a factor.
