Rated 5 out of 5 by PC Patroller from its a backBAG! This pack is everything a backpack should be! I bought this to be my new backpack for school and city living in Portland, OR. I love the simplicity of designThis small backpack maximizes capacity by acknowledging the everyday reality of backpack use. . I mean, tons of pockets and organizing flaps seem nice, but lets be honest - 90% of the time we end up throwing everything into the same big pouch anyway. My dad thinks its genius. He's been calling it the backBAG!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rojmahal from Favorite Small Pack Dump and go. You can stuff so much gear in this pack. Whether it’s a day of single pitch trad, with rope on top. Or a day at they gym, it’s awesome. It’s no slouch as a haul bag or multi-pitch lunch bag. I use it a lot at work and it fits my laptop and tablet with enough gear for my commute. This is becoming my Most versatile pack. GET IT!

Rated 5 out of 5 by HodaYoda from All compartments serve a purpose Minimalist and nice design backpack. Great material and build. Will use this for my bicycle/train-commute to school. I unhooked the waist and chest straps as I don't need them, and got a more clean look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wanless from Almost perfect day pack I really love this pack. Its really tough. I got the red color and it looks great. the laptop sleeve works perfect. The little zippered pocket is great for cell phone, pens chap stick, lighter, knife, and a cable or two. The daisy chains on the front are really handy or things you can hook on and there are plenty of them for a day pack. The one improvement is make the haul handles a little bigger, when you have gloves on you can only really get 2 finger in the loops. That's the one thing I would like to see. But I wont even take away star for that its a great pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Prof Iguana from Groovy Commuter Bag I commute back and forth weekly from Portland, ME to NYC where I teach college. I'm a climber, skier, etc., and kind of a BD freak. I was looking for a super simple commuter bag that was tough but had few if any extra pockets and zippers. THIS is the bag I conjured up and BD delivered. It's like a giant chalk bag, in terms of design, but rugged and just enough space for a laptop (there's a padded compartment), books, snacks and the few items of clothing I bring with me on the commute. And it's also super groovy! ;-)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Agna from Bomber bag I just got this to replace a slightly smaller (18L) pack of similar design (without a laptop sleeve) from a different company. The separate laptop pocket fits my large ipadpro and 13" macbookpro perfectly and there's plenty of room for daily needs in the main compartment. The fabric is super tough and when the bottom is full, it stands up on it's own which I dig. Despite it's cavernous design, the top opens up nice and wide so you can see what's inside without blindly digging around. The only thing I wish it had was a low profile organizational pocket on the front similar to the 24L but with a full closure. I almost bought the 24L because of the extra pocket but stuck with the 20L because reviews said the pocket didn't close at the top which defeats the purpose of storing anything of value. I use this pack for daily commuting and travel. I would love the ability to organize art supplies, cords and gear without loosing the simple and clean design of the pack.
