Alpine squalls or urban downpours, the StormLine Stretch Rain Shell can handle it all. Featuring our BD.dry™ waterproof/breathable/windproof solution, which is engineered to shield you from whatever the weather holds, the StormLine is a fully featured rain shell. With DWR sealed pit zip vents, two zippered hand pockets and a waterproof center front zipper, the StormLine comes prepared for the wettest conditions but quickly adapts for moderate weather. The StormLine’s underarm gussets and ultra-stretchy fabric add mobility and durability, while the climbing-helmet-compatible hood makes it perfect for on-route escapades when inclement weather rolls in. The StormLine also has an adjustable hem and cuffs for dialing in the fit, and when the sun comes out, the shell stows into the right-hand pocket and clips to a harness or bag with a carabiner clip loop.

StormLine Stretch Rain Shell is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holds up in downpours I'm 6'1", 180#, 40" chest and a Medium fits perfect. It is a little tight in the shoulders, but the stretch material is wonderful. I have a long torso, which means Mediums are usually too short and larges are too wide, but the Stormline comes well past my waist. Athletic fit, so not much room for layering, but you can still manage a base and mid layer. I use it mostly for bike touring in case of downpours, and it doesn't ride up even in the drop position. A supreme range of motion, 100% waterproof, and packable. Not as light/packable as my Alpine Houdini, but a much more capable/robust rain shell. Very happy with the purchase, I've never had a rain shell like this. Winning combo with the pants...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great, sizing is same as other rain shells I ordered a Large. I am 6'2" tall and weigh 195lbs. I got this jacket to be a warm weather alternative to my GoreTex Pro shell (also a Large from BD). I was disappointed when the jacket fit the same way as that jacket. Basically, I think that there is plenty of room for layers, and I don't know it that's necessary for a lightweight rain jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit and features This jacket is great! The fit is slim but not too slim. I love the stretchy material. Great at blocking the rain and wind! Durable and packs small! Easy to clip on my harness when climbing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving the Stretch Rain Shell I just got back from a great desert weekend in Utah self-supporting in my kayak down a beauty river. I needed to pack light because everything fits behind the seat in drybags. This jacket balls up into practically nothing and is exactly what I'm looking for. The craftsmanship is quality and it's extremely lightweight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features! I bought this jacket for my trip to Vancouver in the middle of February and I'm so glad I did as it kept me dry and was very lightweight. When i didn't need the jacket, it was light enough, I could wrap up and store in my backpack without taking up much room. It came in handy on the rainy days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Rain Jacket, Great Vents Good jacket, totally waterproof. The stretch is minimal but does make it not so crinkly. I really like the pit zips, it's a great have on a rain jacket to dump heat as you move but still stay (mostly) dry. I am 6' 205 lbs and the large fits well, with room to layer a light puffy, like an Atom or Xenon, though I wouldn't want to get much heavier that that. I have the orange which is a little more muted than the website photos, if that matters to you. Looking forward to trying it as a shoulder season ski touring jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the jacket! Love the jacket! Perfect for so many different temps and weather conditions. Light enough for travel, and rugged enough to handle the job. Only issue is the lack of care instructions for the new BD fabric. Major issue trying to find how to clean it

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice jacket, roomy fit Seems we’ll made. Nice lightweight, stretchy fabric, and a really good hood. However, I can’t really comment on performance because the fit wasn’t right for me and I never got it outside. I’m 6 ft 4 in. tall and weigh 175. The large had enough room for very heavy under layers (which wasn’t my intention) and still had too much billowing in the midsection. The medium was OK in the midsection, but a bit small in sleeves and shoulders/chest). If it fits you, it could be a 5-star. I wanted a slimmer fitting, spring/summer rain shell.
