Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Design, But Not Particularly Warm My local shop stocked sizes up to Large, but not XL, and my old BD winter gloves, size XL, were shot, so I bought the Guide Glove in Large. perhaps I should have had the shop order XL for me. Great design, but my hands were really cold while skiing in brutal conditions yesterday; the too-small size may have been a factor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warmest glove ever I've had this glove two winters now and can say it's the warmest glove I ever owned. It is my primary ski glove and my standing around at cold belays glove. A bit bulky for technical ice climbing but fine for belaying. I love the way the liner comes out, especially at the end of an outing. It makes a huge difference in dry time. The quality of the product is unmatched, right down to the stitching. The glove does run a bit small and I knew that beforehand. I normally size to a large and I ordered an extra large. That worked fine for me. Just love these gloves ! Pete

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful fit, tremendous lining These are clearly the best gloves I have owned. As a ski patroller in the Rockies it gets our gear gets abused and it gets cold. These gloves are durable and warm. If you measure your hands properly the fit is perfect, provided you order the corresponding size! You will love them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still charging Great all around ski glove and have stood the test of time at 8 years. Took some time to break in and really only complaint now is how to get new inserts? Highly recommend

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Burly, Heavy duty gloves -- Just doesn't fit Its always difficult to know how a glove is going to fit without going and trying it on first, and working through the different sizes and whatnot. Saying that I decided to just order the large and found out that the gloves fit my left hand perfectly, with a little tension, and my right hand a little tight, with a lot of tension. This is a bummer because the gloves are bomber and I get cold hands at higher elevations in cold weather. I am hoping that through use, they will stretch out a bit. Though I think I am also going to grab myself a pair of either the Murcury Mitts or the Super Light Mitts. With all that being said, I havent gotten to use these in the high Rockies as of yet, as winter is not quite here yet in Colorado, though these gloves are so burly that I think they will hold up well against any condition I throw at them. They are also sweat inducing to say the least when wearing them around the house (trying to break them in). Can't wait to get into the backcountry with these babies!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features I bought these gloves because my fingers are always cold while skiing. I am looking forward to the ski season to try them out. They look and feel like they will work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best warmth/dexterity ratio These gloves are great for skiing and other outdoor activities where dexterity is required.Probably warmest gloves out there, only mittens will be warmer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from High quality, but too snug and stiff I bought BD Guide gloves about 5 years ago, my usual size XL, biggest size my outfitter stocked. They almost fit, but the BD brand and the model name ("Guide") over-rode my senses and I bought them anyway. Can't use them with the thick liners, although a much roomier fit (of course) with the liners removed. Recently found 2XLs and bought them hoping for a roomier, more flexible glove. Definitely quality workmanship, and better fit, but the inserts seem even thicker between the PrimaLoft One AND "boiled wool." I feel like I'm wearing outfield or ice hocky mitts. Cannot grip my ice tools. For me, a slightly thinner liner would do wonders.
