Rated 4 out of 5 by Midwest shreddar from Good, not great for price. I have been using the gloves for skiing. Keep fingers warm down to 15 degrees. However the leather on these gloves is very stiff, at this price point I expect a glove that doesn’t take effort to grip a ski pole while on.

Rated 2 out of 5 by PNW Skier from These Are Not the Droids You Are Looking For I bought these based on the old Spark gloves. Those gloves are awesome. I've skied over 40 days in my old Sparks and taken them along for 8 Cascade volcano summits (including Rainier twice). I was super excited to see Black Diamond add a Gore-Tex liner and I hoped for more durable stitching. These, however, are Spark gloves in name only. If you read the product description, you can see that BD beefed up the insulation. Now these are about as dexterous as the Guide gloves (not at all). They also lengthened the fingers so in the same size (medium) there is now an extra inch of finger length. My fingers aren't that long. These gloves were basically unusable and felt as dexterous as mittens. I returned them after trying them on. Two stars because the quality seemed higher than the old Sparks right out of the box, but I didn't put them to the test. I also think the new wrist closure is probably better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Wheelbarrowdog from Bomber and cool looking I've started wearing these for bike commute in the low 30's before the snow starts flying. So far I like them, although my fingers do get a little cold despite the temp rating of glove. I wish they had a tab or some grippy stuff on the inside of the cuff to make it easier to get them on. They appear bomber and have no reason to doubt they'll last a season or two of skiing
