Description

For midweek dawn patrols, all-night approaches, or just big climbing objectives that push beyond daylight, the Black Diamond Spot325 has 325 lumens of power, now housed in a smaller, more efficient design. With a new, compact body, the Spot325 has been redesigned with a lower profile for better balance and is more ergonomic for added comfort. We’ve also updated the user interface by adding a second switch for easy lens mode selection. In addition, the updated optical efficiency not only provides brighter light with more peak intensity, but also saves battery life that you can now easily track with a six-setting, three-LED battery meter. The Spot325 also offers peripheral lighting for close-range activities like sorting gear, cooking, or reading in camp and it sports an IPX8 waterproof housing. The Brightness Memory feature allows you to turn the light on and off at a chosen brightness without reverting back to a default setting. Plus, the Spot325’s PowerTap Technology makes for instant brightness adjustment settings.

  • "PowerTap™ Technology allows instant transitioning between full and dimmed power
  • Compact, low-profile design uses three AAA batteries, included
  • Brightness Memory allows you to turn the light on and off at a chosen brightness without reverting back to full or mid-power
  • Settings include full strength in proximity and distance modes, dimming, strobe, red night-vision and lock mode
  • Multifaceted optical lens design
  • IPX8: Waterproof-Tested to operate at least 1.1 meters underwater for 30 minutes. If submerged, water may enter the battery compartment and it will still operate; it should be completely dried out after use in wet conditions."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great light, SUPER bright! This is my second BD headlamp. First was a Spot Titanium 2013, still works but the pivot broke (fixed with glue) so now its my glove box light. This 2019 version is AMAZINGLY bright. Maiden voyage north Yosemite rim, lit up the woods, really throws the light. It's lighter, stronger, brighter, but kinda boxy design (not as sleek as the earlier model). The separate light mode button, allows you to turn light on/off and keep your previous setting "memory." Hold the big button (on/off/dim) down for dimming in all modes, but dont look at diods when both whites are on, it'll burn your retinas (jk, but it's bright) . AND, BD's customer service is AWESOME, they really take care of you. No, Im not related to anyone in the company.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Replacement battery problem Light is great I Used it numerous times but when the original Duracell OEM batteries finally died I went to replace them with new Duracells and the lamp would not work. I tried numerous new Duracell batteries and it still did not work and that is all I had at the time . Find out other battery brands will work in the light. Very strange that new store bought duracells will not work in the light. Seems like a connection issue. And yes the batteries I've tried have power, I tested them in other product's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great setting control It took a few moments to figure out the controls, but once I got it, love the press and hold to dim, as well as the spot and red light functions.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faulty I've had this headlamp for around 6 months have been able to use it for about 20 minutes. There's an issue with the battery compartment where the light will barely stay on. Open the door, adjust the batteries, it comes on, shut the door, and it turns off. I had a princeton tec that I loved, but I lost it. I truly regret ever buying anything from this company. I do lots of electrical work in ceilings and have had to use cheap hardware store lamps instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This headlamp is awesome First use this morning on a 7 mile run. Headlamp stayed bright and never moved out of the setting I had it in. All in all highly recommend this product. For 40 bucks you cant go wrong.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Finally! I had the older model of this light and used it on the PCT and plenty of other trips, but not having the memory of using the dim setting was intensely frustrating. This newer model, however, does have the memory function. I'm unsure of the integrity of the materials though. It seems like cheaper plastic than the old one which did get smashed, so only time will tell how long this will last. I'm in Search and Rescue so the punishment will be severe on this bad boy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3 years of use Happy with my purchase. I bought this in 2016 for a hiking trip. I haven't looked back. I use it for work, walking the dog, reading at night when I don't want to wake my partner. The red light is great if you're a reader, it produces a nice even light on the whole page. Anyways, just my 2 cents. Buy this headlamp!
