Description

The Storm375 is engineered for epics in all conditions, featuring a robust waterproof/dustproof housing and 375 lumens of bright light. With a new, compact body, the Storm375 is more ergonomic, and the updated user interface includes a secondary switch for easy mode selection. In addition, the updated optical efficiency not only provides brighter light, but also saves battery life that you can now easily track with a six-setting, three-LED battery meter. The Storm375 also has three different colored night vision modes and peripheral white lighting for close-range activities like carefully re-racking for the final summit pitch in the dark. The headlamp has our Brightness Memory feature, which allows you to turn the light on and off at a chosen brightness without reverting back to the default, full power setting. The Storm375’s PowerTap Technology enables you to quickly and easily access maximum brightness with the touch of a finger.

  • PowerTap™ Technology allows instant transitioning between full and dimmed power
  • Brightness Memory allows you to turn the light on and off at a chosen brightness without reverting back to full power
  • Regulated for constant light output
  • Compact, low-profile design uses four AAA batteries
  • Settings include full strength in proximity and distance modes, dimming, strobe, red, green and blue night-vision, and lock mode
  • Multifaceted optical lens design
  • Waterproof and dustproof: Sealed housing withstands immersion over 1m for 30 minutes (IPX67)

Storm375 Headlamp is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from storm 375 headlamp I bought this headlamp to increase the light levels when biking and trail running in recreation time through the winter months but primarily for work.I spend a lot of time in remote parts of the country in all weathers. All the good points around good design, construction don't really matter as I find the headlamp utterly useless. I've used it twice with good quality batteries and within 30-40 minutes on full beam it goes dim as the batteries have been drained of power. Its not cold at this time of year so its not that. The lamp just cant stay on full power for long using alkaline batteries. Its a big thumbs down from me and not something I can work around. It just doesnt work to a level I need it to.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Has a mind of its own! Can't believe this headlamp :-( ! I turn it on, it's dim then I hold down the button and it goes to Max brightness, stays there for a second and then goes dim again. Powertap doesn't work. Now it won't even switch off!! I have to remove batteries! Very disappointed and will be returning it. "Instructions' that came with it are next to useless!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great light but need good batteries I'v done some measurements: @6V, Power full here are the current measurements: Spot: 470mA Flood: 189mA Red: 79mA Green/Blue: 94mA Full power (both white leds): 680mA @6V, lowest power: Spot: 5,4mA Flood: 17mA Red: 21mA Green/Blue: 18mA Power reserve activates under 3,1V All the measurements are done with a bench power supply so that the results are not affected by the quality of some batteries. Reading the numbers means that an 800mAh NiMh rechargeable set will drain after 1h at full power. If the quality of the batteries are low then they will have a higher voltage drop for a higher current, resulting in activating the power saving mode. Recomendation is to use the highest quality of batteries (rechargeables) available. If quality is low avoid full power! This is the downside of using high power leds. (All other high power headlight use LiIon rechargeable batteries with high capacity >2000mAh)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Bright Headlamp! So glad I had this for a 1:00am start at Mount Rainier... I could see everything in front of me!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lemon The lamp doesn’t work properly and the light dims after a few seconds (even with brand new batteries) going back to the store for a refund.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Headlamp Perfect for my needs. Camping, hiking and OCR. the Headband has held up through it all and just keeps on going. It fits perfectly, staying on while not being to tight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than last version The Storm 375 is obviously brighter, but the beam itself seems more concentrated, which I happen to like. I mostly wear it for walking the dog at night and spotting her poo, but also so cars can see me. It also seems that my rechargeable batteries last longer with the 375 than the previous model. Some of my friends complained that it was too bright. Oh well. Very happy with the Storm 375.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome headlamp! Bought this headlamp recently to replace an older (2012?) 90 lumen Spot. Read all the negative reviews but thought I would give it a try. Wow, what a great headlamp! First thing I did was pop in a fully charged set of 750 mAH NiMH batteries, set the lamp to full brightness and started my stopwatch. 5 hrs at full power, no problem! No cut out, no overheating. I charged the batteries and they took about 550 mAH of charge so still had some battery capacity after 5 hrs. Beam had diminished somewhat but was still plenty bright. Beam pattern, both distance and proximity, are excellent with no "donut" distance beam like the old Spot. Proximity beam is MUCH brighter than the Spot and illuminates a wide area. Don't know where I would use the blue or green proximity lighting, but the red is bright (if needed) and very even. Two-button control system, brightness memory and PowerTap all work very well. PowerTap needs just a little pause when "tapping". I found a rapid tap was hit and miss. Other than being a bit bulky (4 x AAA batteries), there is absolutely nothing I don't like about this light.
