FlickLock Pro is the evolution of our trusted FlickLock design. The benefits that made FlickLock the best pole-locking mechanism on the market remain: it's secure, fast and easy to use. The FlickLock Pro's low-profile, stainless steel design, however, provides a dramatic improvement in quality, feel and clamping force.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trail Shock Trekking Poles Great for Many Things I have used the Trail Shock Trekking Poles for my hiking and they have been great, unfortunately I had surgery several years ago which has made it difficult to walk much less hike as I previously did, however, the poles with the rubber tip protectors have made for great support, far better than canes as they are adjustable and the hand straps are a great feature as well as the grips and they provide great support inside or outside. I never realized when I first got the Trail Shock Poles to hike with that they would be used this way but it now turns out that the features which make them great for hiking such as light weight, easily adjustable length, comfortable grips, wrist straps, rubber or carbide tips also make them ideal for moving about with medical concerns. I am not suggesting that Black Diamond sell their poles in Drug Stores however the doctors I have visited have all remarked on their use and how appropriate they are. Thank You!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trail Pro Shock Treking Poles -- Great product I purchased these about 2 months ago. I have used them extensively. On first blush the new user of trekking poles would think -- Heck - poles are poles. Not so. A significant amount of thought and design went into these poles. They are sturdy and well built. The differences over less expensive poles are apparent in the length adjustments. They lock solidly to prevent accidental collapse and will hold solid under stress. I weigh 215 and no movement whatsoever. The latches are also adjustable for wear. The hand straps are comfortable, and fit me fine. If someone had giant hands while wearing gloves the loops might be a bit small, but for me they work well. Great product and I recommend them to anyone looking for a set of poles that will go the distance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 40 % more strength on the mountain. I have hunted all my life. I am 57yrs. young and had a full knee replacement 4yrs. Ago. I hunt the Rocky Mountain's in Utah. These poles have helped me up 10,000 ft. Summits in search of game. Wonderful and fully trusted in there strong lock down and shock design. Your trek poles are one of the most needed pieces of equipment on my adventures. Thank you. They are wonderful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstandng product These poles are great. Easy to adjust and sturdy. Good shock absorbers. If they came 15 cm longer they would be even better for winter.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great pole - 1 year review I used these poles quite a bit including steep hikes in the Wasatch to more mellow hikes in Oregon. Great feel, nice grips and straps, excellent quality flip locks. Why the 3 stars? Well, although I bought these for the shock feature, the elastomer bumpers stopped springing back which would cause a lot of play in the handle. And it wasn't just one of the poles but both of them. Ultimately had to return them and go back to the non-shock version which BD did without a hassle. Thanks BD!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded All My Expectations This is a fantastic product. Well made, strong, won't slip and the shock absorbing handles do work. If you are a serious hiker, trail / mountain runner buy a set. Your legs will thank you and you won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The trekking poles work great. I've only used them once but they work so well. Very easy to adjust and to collapse for packing. I had another inexpensive pair of trekking poles that just did not work smoothly, what a waste of money. The Trail Pro Shock Trekking Poles are great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great poles but ..... I got these poles about a year ago and use them to trek up and down Stone Mountain 2-4 times per week. So I adjust them frequently. Three of the 4 plastic adjustment tabs have broken; but were still usable until today. Now one is not functional. But I gotta say ..... these are great poles.
