Rated 5 out of 5 by Freeman4Change from Awesome jacket Just received mine less than a week ago, accidentally ordered the medium, it's a tight fit with layers, have done 4 layers and it fit really snug, I'm 5'9" 175, probably should have upsized, but no complaints. Going to keep it for spring and summer, maybe fall. I'm going to go for the large Sharp End shell for more layering options for winter. With the liquid point I layer with the Coefficient Hoodie, Alpine Start Hoodie, Access Hoodie and finally First Light Hoodie then Liquid point Shell, a little snug altogether but still have complete range of motion. I a great jacket, I would suggest it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bendango from Great fit, great durability! Picked this one up about a week ago and I know that's not too long but I feel like I've already put it through the ringer and I'm impressed. Ordered up a size for easy layering with a puffy and I'm glad I did. First day took it out for a scramble and scraped it all over, already impressed with the durability. Then day two through four brought it out at work. Three days with a chainsaw slung over the shoulder and not a scuff yet. Very impressed and satisfied with this shell. I'm 6' and and the arms are long on the large, but I like them that way so I can retract my hands like a turtle in the cold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jeff from Great shell, super lightweight I love this shell, I forget it is in my pack/work bag until I need it, then it provides great wind and rain protection. I like how the pockets are low since I use it more for causal adventures, bike commuting, and quick tours. I also really liked the price point, it is great quality for what it costs. The gore-tex paclite doesn't breathe as well as other gore products but the pit zips help make up for it. I also get nervous skiing in the trees with it since it feels like it could rip on a branch but the few times I've had collisions with mother nature, it has held up. I also really like the fit, it has an athletic cut and doesn't feel boxy or dorky (for a rain coat).

Rated 5 out of 5 by johnisupdariver from Nice wet weather protection I spend lots of time in the temperate rain forest of SE Alaska and I'm always on the look out for a great rain jacket. I like the Liquid Point Shell for its features and price point. The pit zips are great for when its wet but not too cold. Nice full collar with hood. Be advised that this jacket is sized generously. I usually wear a XL but think I could have ordered a L and been just as happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by alleycat from Love this light weight shell. I take this with me everywhere as it packs down to nothing and works great in a down pour. I like its light weightness and goes on easy and the hood is perfect. I'd purchase another one when you add to zip hand pockets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jason from great feel, nice and light I really like this jacket for the fact that it is nice and light and well constructed. The Large fits me as I would expect a Lg to even though it seems black diamond has a a tighter athletic fit than most. I read reviews of the pit zips being hard to manage and there is a easy trick to getting them zipped down/up just grab the cuff and extend your arm and its no problem. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars was bc when I stuff it into the chest pocket which i don't believe its designed to do is to it doesn't have a dual zipper and a tab to attach it to my harness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by tmbirdsall from In LOVE! I got this as a gift for my husband (yeah, I treat him well) and he is thrilled with this jacket! He loves how lightweight it is, how breathable it is, how minimalist it is, how waterproof it is and how quiet it is and it's Gore-tex. When we met he told me that it is worth every penny to buy products made with Gore-tex and he's right! This jacket performs as well as all of his other GTX shells (you have to have specific gear for specific activities). Fits great, it does run slim so I had to get him a size larger than he normally would wear.
