Alpine Light Pants - Women's is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from not a good fit for athletic legs the pockets are weird and bulge, you cant get them to lay flat and they make the front of your pants look weird. Also, I find this to be a consistent problem in women's climbing pants, these are way too tight in the thighs and loose in the waist. not a good fit for women who do a ton of hiking/alpine climbing/mountaineering and have muscular quads and small waist, like me and most of my climbing girlfriends. also, the belt feature had to be cinched to fit my waist and creates discomfort under a pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect shape and fabric I've been on the search for the perfect summer alpine pants for a few years, and I am very happy with these. The fabric is light but seems to be durable. The fit is great - fitted but not TOO fitted. Nice and stretchy. They look good around town or on the peaks. I'm not sure about the belt thing, but I haven't had to adjust it. Haven't noticed it under my pack yet but seems like it could cause discomfort. The side pocket is nice but could be just a touch bigger. The hip and rear pockets are excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from urban to alpine I love these pants. Comfortable and well fitted for climbing or sunny backcountry skiing, cute enough for going out or bike commuting. I just hope they last until summer alpine season; I could see myself wearing them to death long before. I'm 5'8" and 130lbs and the size S fits perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely Comfortable! I love these pants! They are extremely comfortable and stretch with you as you move. Also seem to wick light water well but are still really breathable. I have a fairly petite frame, I'm 5' 5" 125lbs and the small fits perfect. I love that you don't need a belt with it as well. I just wish they made these pants in more colors (maybe a burnt orange or an army green?!)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pants, but a big waist as always After weeks of trying out different climbing/alpine pants, I received these pants a few days ago and I absolutely love them. The cinching feature on the ankles, the thigh pocket, lightweight fabric, and built-in belt are great features. Unfortunately, like what feels like almost every pair of pants out there, if you have large quads and a smaller waist, it's practically skin tight on the thighs but you have the built-in belt at its smallest setting. Still totally functional for me, so giving it 4 stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Superb for rock climbing and hiking! I really enjoy using these softshell pants whether I'm doing errands around town or going climbing. They have great flexibility and look really nice. I find them to be a little bit baggy around the crotch and they're a tad short for me as I'm 5.11.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally women's pants with deep pockets! These pants are fitted but extremely stretchy. I'm very happy that a company actually designed and made pants for women that have deep pockets. My entire hands can fit in them, as well as my cellphone and keys, and this is RARE for women's pants. We need more of this! Even though the legs are fitted, the stretch of the fabric makes me forget that anything is even in the pockets. I'm 5'10", 140lbs and they fit my waist and thighs well, they are a little short. A tall size would be much appreciated!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for climbing and scrambling Finally, a truly breathable, durable, and stretchy pair of pants! These have taken many beatings up offwidths, scrambles up and down, sliding down snow, more butt slides, and it's no worse for the wear. I can high step with as much ease as with leggings, and this is where most pants fail me - not stretchy, especially if I have sweated in them and fabrics have a tendency to stick to skin. I can say pretty much the same for the regular alpine pants, but I love that the light alpine pants are that - lighter. On summer approaches, this is really nice. The fit is great for me. I am 5'3" 105, no butt, strong thighs; the XS fit great. The thighs are snugger than the lower portion, but not uncomfortably so. I don't notice it. As a shortie, this is not a problem. The elasticized hem keeps that in check. Looks good en route and in town.
