Sonnie Trotter et Alex Honnold sont capables de grimper un 5.13. Ce n'est pas le problème. Et enchaîner un 5.13 de 28 longueurs au Mexique en une journée ? Voilà qui représente un défi même pour ces deux grimpeurs acharnés. Cependant, comme dans toute aventure digne de ce nom, les véritables prises de risque ne se sont pas présentées instantanément : le simple fait de trouver la paroi s'est avéré folklorique, des prises friables ont gâché leur tentative à vue et l'ouverture des festivités à la base du mur en aurait incité beaucoup à retraverser la frontière en courant.
