Rated 5 von 5 von aus East to use and Bright This was my 4th Black Diamond product, and I am thrilled with it. Other than opening the package, everything was great. Intuitive, charged quickly, and very bright-a winner for sure.

Rated 2 von 5 von aus no good revolt stock batteries! I have the stock ones on the revolt headlamp and I'm really unhappy: when they discharge is almost difficult (not to say impossible) to recharge them inside the headlamp. To let them charge from low charge, you need an external battery charger. My recommendation: BUY THE ENELOOP NORMAL (750 mah) OR PRO VERSION (930 mah), PUT AN ALUMINIUM ADHESIVE STRIP AROUND THE NEGATIVE POLE OF THE BATTERIES IN ORDER TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE METAL BUTTON OF THE BATTERY CASE OF YOUR HEADLAMP, AND YOU WILL HAVE A SET OF BATTERIES FAR BETTER THAN THE STOCK ONES! I DID IT AND IT WORKS GREAT!

Rated 1 von 5 von aus Great way to make unhappy customers My batteries died and I cannot easily (or affordably) buy them in Australia! While I can use other rechargeable batteries (like the industry standard Eneloops) in my headlamp you have added a "feature" to stop them being able to be recharged in the device, as the original ones could. This sort of proprietary nonsense has made sure I will never buy, or recommend, your products again.

Rated 3 von 5 von aus I only need three. I always wonder why these come in packs of 4. For the ReVolt, I only need three and am alway wondering what to do with the extra...

Rated 5 von 5 von aus Great batteries, but.... These batteries work great. Plus the whole concept of a rechargeable headlamp is awesome. Especially in conjunction with a solar recharger. But it is a little silly to make us buy four when we can only use three. Especially considering you shouldn't just trash batteries into your local landfill.

Rated 2 von 5 von aus Why sell in packs of 4? Why not LSD? I know that it's standard to sell AAA cells in packs of four, but your rechargeable headlamps only take 3 cells, so this is just dumb. If you're going to go to the trouble of selling BD branded, fairly expensive rechargeable cells, you should sell them in sets of 3. And as far as I can tell from your specs, these are just standard Ni-Mh cells, when for a lower price, you can buy Low Self-Discharge (LSD) Ni-Mh cells which are far better suited for this application, so they don't lose 1-3% of their charge every day since being charged even if you're not using them.. Even the brand name Panasonic eneloop cost less than these Buying these batteries really makes no sense for people who know anything about batteries. If you want a compelling reason to buy your own brand of batteries, you should make them low-self discharge (just repackage the panasonic LSD ones), and sell them in units of 3 or 6.

Rated 5 von 5 von aus very good batteries and a great way to reduce carbon footprint I've used a lot of NiMH rechargeable batteries (and NiCad before) as well as other types of rechargeable batteries. Rechargeables make a great deal of sense on an expedition. When combined with a solar roll or panel set up, weight and bulk can be reduced, over time money will be saved by not buying throw-away batteries (and packing so many more of them in as well as out as trash), and this is a good way to reduce carbon footprint. Reuse, repurpose, recycle, and all that great stuff. There are a number of 1000ma AAA batteries available, and even a few 1,100ma ones, but the consumer needs to carefully read labels as often this information is not readily apparent on packaging or on the batteries. It is often in VERY small print, and many batteries are far less than 1000ma. I've noted 300ma rated AAA on the market in a couple of places. An un-cautious consumer might be thinking he or she was saving a lot of money and buying smart, until the very short battery life became apparent. These batteries from Black Diamond have proved very durable for the past 2 winters. As I live in Alaska and we have a lot of darkness in the winters, not to mention cold, my batteries and lightening systems get a workout. The one curious thing that I have noticed with these batteries, is that they do tend to self-discharge a little faster than most that I have used, so beware if they have been left unused for a few weeks in your avy beacon or gps. By the way, ANY new NiMH battery should be fully charged before use out of the package if you want to maximize battery life. Nickel-Metal Hydrate batteries produce 1.2 volts at full charge rather than 1.5 volts. Despite some manufacturers claims, this does not seem to matter on the majority of electronics that I used them in, but occasionally you will find the battery life will be reduced on some types of gadgets that might be more voltage sensitive. Black Diamond: On your webpage, the packaging photo for this item is clearly visible and you can read the Milli-ampere-hour rating on the package, but you should post this number under specifications as well.

Rated 3 von 5 von aus Really! 0.7 VDC. I bought 3 packs of these batteries because their advertised capacity (1000 ma-hr) is higher than any other AAA rechargeable NiMH batteries I've encountered. Whether this makes a difference remains to be seen. But, over the years I have purchased numerous other brands of the same battery and this is the first time the batteries came out of the package needing to be charged. Something to heed well if your counting on a fresh new pack of batteries for backup.
