Rated 5 out of 5 by Topher from Good FIt! They work perfect with the sharp end shell! There is a few places with velcro which for winter/snow is a pain sometimes, but once they are on, your in a bomber shell pant!

Rated 4 out of 5 by GeoffS79 from My Go To Pant I bought these pants to replace my old ski pants. Great fit, bomber pants with enough room for layering if needed. The full zip legs are great for dumping heat on hikes. I would rate them perfect if they had suspenders. I was able to find a light weight set of suspenders to use. Love the pants.

Rated 4 out of 5 by mattman from Good quality Bought this at the beginning of the season, they're working well keeping me dry. They breathe well and dump heat efficiently while skinning. I like the two big pockets on the thighs. The fit is good and high on the waist. Occasionally they can bind a bit due to the non-stretchy fabric while hopping in and out of the truck, never noticed this while skiing. Would like it if the material were a bit heavier but no rips or tears yet. Would also have preferred these in brown.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ice Creep from Bad fit Just got a pair of these and believe the fit and cut to be totally off, as they are much too restrictive of a pant when you are in motion. They look baggy, but when you try to lift your leg, you meet a lot of resistance, just from the cut of the pant. I found this ice climbing and ski touring. I also have the touring soft shell pant from BD as well, which I love, so was expecting the same from these...for reference, I'm a size medium of average everything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Brad from Durable and heavy duty pants. Ideal professional gore-pro pants that appear primarily designed for skiing but also work well for mountaineering in very windy and cold conditions. These will last many seasons and allow for a wide range of temperature uses as they can be vented with the two way zipper and there is the ideal space for layering. The bottom cuff is larger than it needs to be for ski boots, and can get in the way if using for ice climbing/mountaineering. It's even a bit bulky once tucked inside a gator, but this is a small complaint. The back comes up high to prevent cold drafts and powder from finding its way in. The pants have been bulletproof and also were also perfect on snowmobile trips. If you need a heavy duty gore-pro pant that will last years and see many days of hard use these should be on your shortlist. These are not designed to be emergency rain pants living in the bottom of your pack. 6ft, 185Lbs, using a size medium.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WVMountaineer from Just like the Sharp End Shell, a perfect 10! The BD Sharp End pants are excellent. Just like the Sharp End jacket, everything you want in a pant is provided in one high-quality pair: very low pack weight, supreme weather protection, fantastic mobility for climbing or skiing, and durability for hard use. I am 6'0", 190 with an athletic, but muscular build. For BD pants, I am a solid Large. My recommendation is to size true to your size in other pant types.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tobin Seagel from Best ski pants These are my favourite ski pants for resort, backcountry or expeditions. The three ply goretex keeps out the wet stuff we get in the PNW but still breathes, and there's just enough features to be useful but not cluttered (two cargo pockts and long zips). I'm 5'10" and 160lbs and I wear the medium.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Scott from Bomber Proof Hey if you're looking for a pretty fault-proof pant for split-boarding then these may be the ones for you. The vent feature is clutch on long ascents and the fit seemed spot on. No issue with the leg opening and getting it around a snowboard boot.
