Rated 4 out of 5 by Firefighter from Nice jacket Jacket does everything as advertised. Lightweight and comfortable. I love the inside pockets for skins! I am usually in between LG and XL but generally go with XL because I like the extra room. I could have easily gotten a LG and been happy. The one critique I have is I wish it had pit zips

Rated 5 out of 5 by DrewSarge from Perfect Shell for Touring use I purchased this as my go-to shell for touring, I tend to run really warm and prioritized breathability and movement, I also tend to not add layers before the down very often, so I wanted something that also provided enough protection for all purpose usage. I have not been disappointed. Pocket layout is superb. I'm not sure what people are complaining about with sizing I'm 6'1 and an athletic (not chubby) 205 with broad shoulders and it is perfect (size large). Slim enough to not get in the way but with enough stretch and space I can throw on an extra layer on those really bitter days if need be. It fits exactly as I expected men's large to fit. If you want a really versatile all-purpose softshell for high - moderate output activities. This should be on your short list.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Eddie from Great shell! I bought this a few weeks ago to replace an older shell. This jacket is so well designed as a technical shell. The sleeve length is perfect to accommodate a variety of activities (even my winter cycling commute) without riding up. The hood feels a little large at times, but since designed to go over your helmet (fits well over cycling helmet too), it makes sense. It's super light weight and works well for layering underneath. Haven't yet used for climbing, but will later in spring. As a bonus, the blue is a sharp color for urban wear. I'm 5'10" and weigh 170, order a M.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Alastair from Nice jacket but godawful sizing. Functional softshell but it makes me question what BD thinks the average human looks like.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jerry from Just what I was looking for Simple design, no extras (i.e. pit zips, double front zipper) which is what I wanted. 155lbs, fairly broad shoulders, narrow waist/hips, medium fits well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by chez_it from Love the lack of restriction by the material! The material is awesome. It does not feel restricting at all. I also love the overall fit. I'm short & stocky, with a muscular build. I was worried it would be an awkward fit, but fortunately it is not. I tend to run warm when doing practically any activity and love the breathability of the jacket. The hood is well equipped for use with a helmet, so it is a tad awkward without one but is still fairly adjustable. Overall, great product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by kayakr from Fantastic fabric, fit not so great. bought 2019: Great fabric. It's nice to see a true good double weave softshell as other companies are dropping this awesome part of a quiver. I read other reviews that said the shoulders could be a little tight. I ordered an XL and the belly area was huge. I returned and ordered an L and the shoulder areas are tight and tend to rub my armpits when skinning or nordic skiing. Please open up the upper arms or copy what marmot does with raglan sleeves and you'll have a 5.
