Rated 4 out of 5 by Hope from Good for what they are Good light mitts to have as spares or bail outs. Fit in other shell mitts very well. I don't like the cuffs - I feel the length of the shell and insulated part could be 1" longer and have a shorter, less tight elastic part. Also due to the layers of lining, primaloft and pertex there is some tactile slip within in the mitt (hard to describe) when using poles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Doug from Earned their place as essential hiking gear We were hiking in Tierra Del Fuego on a windy day with rain and snow showers. We put on our Stance mitts and had warm dry hands all day. They have earned their place in our jacket pocket as essential hiking gear, and they are very low weight.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ireyeyes from Used for ski camping with an elephant's foot bag I purchased these mainly to sit in my pack for emergency use on backcountry ski day trips. I also used them in conjunction with an elephant's foot sleeping bag and a parka for snowcave sleeping recently. So far, they are just what I was looking for: light, super warm, don't take up much pack space.

Rated 4 out of 5 by mtndrew from Warm and lightweight I've used these mittens in 10-20 F windy conditions and they've kept my hands toasty. Medium fit perfectly AFTER I got my hands through the tight cuffs, so I had to exchange for a large.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CathyP from GREAT PRODUCT! These are so light!!! I don't know how they will fare in a really *wet* snowfall, but they were VERY warm while I was out for several hours at ~18 degrees and powdery snowfall. I definitely think they would be fine at a lot colder temps. Note that mine actually ran a little small, as compared to what I was led to believe by the size chart. And, in particular, the opening at the wrist seemed quite tight (not cut-off circulation tight, but just a little hard to get my lined hand in there). That said, those cuffs sure did keep the wind out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chad from Love them! Love these mitts! they pack down small so you can toss them in a pocket or in your pack and they provide great worms and wind protection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ward from weigh nothing warmth! My go to for cold belays when climbing or winter camping hanging out after dark. They can go over an un-insulated liner glove and warmth is incredible. Won't last long if your doing work in them but for keeping warm they're great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tina from Decent mitten I purchased these after purchasing and really looking the stance gloves. The mittens are good, warm without being too warm or bulky. I used them in negative temperatures snowshoeing a lot this winter. The only thing that could be improved is the cuff. The elastic cuff is just a little too snug for these mittens to slide on and off early.
