The timing was perfect. With the annual Kings and Queens of Corbet’s ready to take off, BD Athlete Parkin Costain set up shop for a week in Jackson Hole just as a classic Wyoming storm-cycle blanketed the hill with a few feet of fresh. Parkin, whose epic double backflip off the Corbet’s lip clinched him the title last year, was stoked to loosen up before the comp. With the unstable snowpack of the backcountry, he decided to take advantage of the tram and go big on the 4,000-foot vertical runs that Jackson is famous for. You gotta get up to get down.
