Jim's journey into the world of rock climbing began at the tender age of 6, amidst the picturesque landscapes of the Lake District during family holidays. However, as he grew up in London, his focus gradually shifted towards indoor competition climbing.

Jim is a versatile competitor, participating in both Lead and Boulder disciplines. He has notched impressive achievements, making it to the semi-finals of World Cup events in both categories and clinching multiple national championship titles along the way.

Beyond the realm of competition climbing, Jim is known for his adventurous spirit. He considers himself a true 'all-rounder' in climbing, pushing his boundaries across a wide spectrum of climbing styles. From the challenging terrain of UK trad climbing to the heights of Alpine multi-pitches, Jim revels in the diverse and ever-evolving world of climbing.
