Rated 5 out of 5 by MrPokie from Great light pole! Please make 145 cm length! Season three and they're holding up well, and delightfully light every time I pick them up. Replaced two other pairs of poles that are no longer of any benefit as these are proven durable after 150 days in the mountains in all seasons. Well worth the price of admission. Please make longer version for 6'-2" plus folks...poles are so light it's a delight to reposition them on variable terrain and longer (145cm) would be more versatile in the deep mountains (read winter 'mid erexion, evacuation sled improv, and mountain lion defense).

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kayakmonkey from Great light pole - just one flaw I love these poles. Nice and light. Feel good and give just the right feedback. Great straps with a y split to fit the glove BUT I lost a basket fast and the other loosens and comes off in sticky snow

Rated 1 out of 5 by extremealpine from Broke them in one tour. In general I love all my gear that I get from BD. In the ski pole department I have owned and heavily used the Razor Carbon and Vapor Carbon Fixed Length Poles. Both of those poles have served me very well. The Vapor Carbon specifically has been a workhorse, which I didn't expect. So this season I threw down for the Helio Fixed Length. From other reviews it seemed like it was going to be more durable than the Vapor. For me this turned out not to be the case. They snapped down near the basket on my first tour with them and I had to employ a pole splint to get out of the field.

Rated 4 out of 5 by skys15 from Light, but... I’ve liked everything about these poles I just wish it had the ability to screw a whippet attachment into them, then they’d be my ultimate pick for ski poles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jack from Super light ! Extremely light weight and surprisingly durable. I love these for touring. Definitely need to keep a good grip on them in the wind.

Rated 4 out of 5 by first4powder from Very light and comfortable + Very light weight. Excellent swing weight. Basket good for deep snow. Grip comfortable. - Straps comfortable but slip through in use so OK for larger more bulky gloves but not for small hands or thin gloves. (so far appear durable after 2 weeks but I did buy previously a pair of the Vapor poles which snapped after 2 weeks - this was in a fall, but I haven't broken 7075 alloy poles in 20 years; hopefully at the high price these will last a bit longer than 2 weeks).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Scott from Excellent swing weight and terrifically light! This is a lightweight, competitive product. It has excellent swing weight but is very light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by josh from Don't let them blow away... These are so light that picking up my "regular" carbon poles now induces so much strain that I worry about a potential hernia. They are so light that I sometimes worry that they'll blow away. So, yes, they are light. And, amazingly, they are strong. I've thrashed them for 1.5 seasons so far and they've been strapped to snowmobiles, thrown into heli baskets, whacked against trees, whacked against skis, used to hold up my truck topper, abused by angry toddlers, you name it. So far, no issues other than some abrasion on the straps (from ski edges). Oh, yeah, they're also obscenely expensive...but you probably already figured that out.
