Superb pair of lightweight trekking poles

"These poles have been tested where it counts. I used them training in Southern California before taking them to the Bhutanese Himalayas, where they were essential for crossing the 16,000-foot Bhonte-La pass. Lightweight, durable, and comfortable even after hours of hard use on steep, rocky terrain — they perform exactly as advertised. This is actually my second pair: my first was lost by FedEx during international shipment, forcing me to cancel an entire trek. I didn't hesitate to replace them. That says everything."

Sturdy and Safe

"I used these poles on my most recent summit of Mt Baker where they saved me from slipping/falling numerous times. I am very impressed with the build quality. The carbon is very strong, and the snaps feel well built. The importance of trekking poles cannot be understated when navigating rough terrain or while carrying a heavy backpack for additional touch points on the trail for stability. These poles have worked well for me on normal dirt, rocks, snow, and ice. My only recommendation to the manufacturer is to include snow baskets, as many other trekking poles made by Black Diamond include these normally and these are their top tier model so it seem appropriate. I would absolutely recommend these!"

The best!

"These just feel great. I hike a lot of miles and have used all sorts of sticks, these are just perfect."

Paul M. (5/5)

Very good quality

"Very happy with these and can’t wait to test them out on Kodiak island!"

Michael M. (5/5)

Amazing set of pole, bought

"Amazing set of pole, bought them right before my Patagonia trip and did not let me down. Super light and strong, even had to put all my bodyweight(170 lbs) into them a few times trying not to wipe out. Be careful not to drop your poles, the cork chips very easily in the cold."

Matthew B. (5/5)

Great poles

"Got these poles for a long through hike. They have been nothing but superb thus far. Easy to set up, comes with 2 sets of tips, and light enough but not fragile. Love the cork grips as well. Also nice that they come with an allen wrench for fine tuning."

Etosha (5/5)

Light and tough

"Although there are lighter trekking poles available, these are tough. I have now used these on several occasions in rough conditions and they have saved me from backpack faceplants multiple times. The abuse that I have thrown at these would have broken or bent any of the previous poles that I owned."

Scott R. (5/5)

The Sweet Spot

"Super light poles, while still maintaining a sturdy and high quality feel. They hold their length settings perfectly and withstand a beating while on trail."
