"Crag 40 has tons of room for trad gear, helmet, a couple layers and snack no problem. Or enough room for a small family's gear for an afternoon of top roping. Only thing, if I had to find a flaw would be shoulder strips have little to no padding. That said though, this does not present itself like a haul bag, so the lighter weight shoulder straps and material are working great."
"I've been using a Creek 50 for years but wanted something that was more friendly to checked baggage for destination climbing flight trips. The Crag 40 is perfect. It's built well and doesn't have a lot of extra complexity but has just enough zipper pockets and thoughtful design. I've carried 30+ pounds comfortably, even in this relatively small pack."

I do wish the outside zipper pocket was more accessible. When the pack is full it is very hard to get in and out of this pocket. The inside zipper pocket us pretty useless since you can't access it with the pack being full."
